idea for implementing increased bank space for subs

Rather than simply doubling the amount of available bank space, I would love to see an interactable chest furnishing item placed into the inventory of subscribers (or free from crown store, whatever is easier). This item, which would mirror your existing bank space, could be placed in your house to allow for some increased immersive fun. To me, that would feel 'pretty awesome' instead of just 'kinda nice.' ZOS could even market it as 'storage in housing for subs' rather than just 'increased bank space for subs' - its the same thing of course, but it sounds and feels so much cooler! Just my opinion

Your idea requires subs to have a house. Probably not a good idea even if the little rooms at free after a quest.

Further, I like the idea that the banker assistant can access to added storage Zos has announced. Doubly better than what is proposed here.

Yeah not everybody has a home and fairly new players and even many vets that sub probably dont have a home due to how expensive they are to buy and furnish.

If you want interactive bank space in your house, place the Banker Assistant there. You could even built them a private little vault with chests and gold.

    Terrible idea ditto.

It also splits the single, access from anywhere (*anywhere there is a banker or call banker assistant) bank into two depositories.

Not good from a managing inventory pov. Would have to memorize or constantly check multiple locations - much like logging into different mules, to access your overall stored inventory. Well intentioned, but no thanks.

Double the double is my preference. Give everyone x2 bank - long overdue. And give subs double that, for total of x4. Heck, x10. Way, way more items we want to save than space atm, even with the upcoming doubling. Double the double!

For ZoS its an major benefit to move storage to houses.
Items in bank has to be kept in server memory all the time because of crafting stations and summonable bankers
Storage in house would only be loaded with house.
It will act as an long term storage, mostly sets you might use in the future or then you get an full set of it.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

If housing had storage the items would still be kept on server side, not client. Placing items on client side opens the game up to manipulation, dupes, etc.

I like the current way they are implementing more storage. I don't want to have to go back and forth trying to figure out where I placed what items.

Yes it would be on server side but just loaded into server memory on entering the house.
Current option is to use bank alts who is far more messy to work with.

Friends in need quest still in my logg. Housing must be the most useless crap ever made in any mmo. Ppl actually still visit "their" houses? I have a whole town for my disposal called Rawlhaka, where i have everything i need.

But with what zos are implementing you won't have to user either. You will just have more bank space.

If they wasn't going to add more bank space already then I would agree. But picking between the 2 options I would rather just have more space in the same location I already have the space.

On console target dummy was the biggest plus for housing imo. Considering we had no reliable way to test dps solo. I go to my house quite frequently, not to mention attuned crafting stations making it so you don't have to travel to icp to craft certain sets.

So I definitely don't think housing is useless. Maybe less useful on pc since they have had add-ons for testing dps and other things.

This should just be a perk that comes with the houses in general. Increases the storage space the bigger the house.
