Do Players Not Like Haggling?

No tbh. If I post that I'd like to sell something for a given price and someone whispers asking to buy for less, that's not a cutesy/realistic thing to do, it's irritating b/c I've researched what the going rate for the item is. (I'm at least nice about it though, as much as it irritates me)

I don't wanna haggle, if you want somethin and I have it... i state my price (that is already as low as i am willing to go).. if you reply with how about a random lower number I won't reply.

I agree with this. I HATE (WITH THE PASSIONS OF ELDERBERRIES) haggling.
    Clueless, but willing to learn.

I rarely run into people who are down to haggle. The last time I tried to haggle with someone I was accused of trying to flip it. I can understand the sentiment, but it went toxic quick for simply asking. In this particular case it was a very small amount of money in question; I was trying to pick up style items to craft some gear (ohhh big deal, let's get salty).

The only people I know who regularly haggle and trade items-for-items, or even a combination of items and gold, are my friends and guildemates. No attempt to haggle a listed price or one specified in zone has ever worked for me. It's not as though I've been unreasonable, people are just generally averse to it.

People ignore a low-ball offer. It's part of haggling. I think they do it to teach you to deal with them fairly. Come back when you're really ready to deal.
