I follow him and use streak to take the next 3 nodes he wants to take.
A player followed me around an area, in one of the zones doing exactly that. About to pick the nodes when the said person raced in three different times, just as my character was about to interact.
Didn't say a word in zone chat, whisper them or report them. Plenty of other nodes around. Best way to stop a potential troll, is to not react.
To top things off, the following day a player ran up from behind when I was about to pick pocket an npc. They failed and was chased off by the npc. After the npc came back, went to have another go at pick pocketing. The same player came back as I was about to have another attempt at pick pocketing and killed the npc using the blade of woe. This time I chased after the player, as I was going to report them. Couldn't keep up with their bolt escape lol.
What will reporting the player do? Nothing! He wasn't breaking any rules and you think there will be some type of disciplinary action taken on him when nothing happens to botters and people afk at dolmens ?
Even then, it's fair that the first person who was there and fighting the mob gets the node. Otherwise, it's still a **** move to take the node.MLGProPlayer wrote: »But it takes a special kind of dirtbag to steal a node from someone who has aggroed the mob next to the node. You either help to kill the mob (at which point, the node is fair game for both players) or you move along.

Yep. Someone took a chest while I was fighting the NPCs guarding it, standing right on top of it, so I followed him everywhere and stole absolutely everything from the ****. He kept trying to stealth, thinking that would make him invisible, and he kept trying to sprint but I could run faster. Eventually he sprinted off a cliff and died and I felt happy enough to move on.
But seriously, if this game is going to allow resource stealing like this, then it should also allow PKing. There's literally no downside to stealing from people, so anyone without a moral compass is encouraged to be a *** in this game.
