What gear do you caft tho? Seducer possibly but still then you pair it with a droped set and are not able to wear a complete style.Dark_Lord_Kuro wrote: »I would prefer recrafting of gear to change the style

Realistically, droped gear if far superior to crafted gear atm and I dont think that will change. If you want to use 2 five piece sets you will never be able wear a whole motif as you cant craft jewelry;)

I'm not against a transmogrification system of some kind, I just think it should be gated behind getting your character to high level crafting abilities. thus allowing crafting to be an endgame partner, just not in DPS matters in this case, but aesthetic matters.

I would actually quite enjoy your feedback about this undaunted overhaul set crafting idea (is the second part of the initial post)
It could also require some good amount of gold for each transformation, so you could get another gold sink.

True, but at the same time allowing every player to change the appearance of their dropped set just by purchasing the motif is going to be a giant middle finger to anyone who has done the crafting grind. those 9 traits you learned? useless. not only are your crafted sets sub-par, but also crafted sets no longer have the luxury of being the only way to get your character to look the way you want.

Trait could be locked and high-end drops could require nine-trait to craft. They could even require some sort of special crafting station.
But I definitely think just a "re-skin" like Imperials have just isn't enough. Some actual crafting needs to be involved.

Again most costumes street or fancy clothes, not armor, its for hanging out in town notThis ugliness of mismatched dropped sets is deliberately engineered into the game to make costumes from the crown store more attractive by comparison.
I know it sounds a bit paranoid but I feel very sure we won't see a transmogrify system unless there are more ways to get people to pay crowns. Good idea though.

But also, fix crafted armor kthnx!
