Daily quests cap

Ok so there seems to be a daily quests cap, but I never thought it would be so low. Let me explain.
The day before yesterday I reached the cap, and I didn't wonder why, I had done -so many- dailies. Today I did all the quests in Cyrodiil towns: Bruma, Cropsford, Chorrol, Vlastarus and half Cheydinhal. I could not finish Cheydinhal, because I reached the cap. But this... is impressive... How come I cannot do all the Cyrodiil town quests anymore in a single day? I've had like three characters who were leveled up by only doing the Cyrodiil town quests every single day. And I was able to do all the towns in that single day, I never reached any caps.
What happened with this? Have you lowered the cap there was before? If there was one even. I miss doing the Cyro town dailies everyday without anything to stop me.

I used attempt to do all the daily quests in all the towns the other month but I definitely hit the cap before finishing all the towns. I was never able to do them all.

They must have changed this recently, because I swear, two years ago or so, I was able to level up a character from 10/15 to 50 only making them, doing all towns in one day, and then repeat it the next day, and so on. I remember when I finished I wanted to even repeat them once again. My current main character, Hjalmar, has been leveled up only doing these quests everyday, and they're not quests that would take you the entire day to make. Maybe they've changed it when the capture towns was released... I'm not very sure...

My first main this is how I got to vr14 but if I remember correctly there was even a cap on dailies back then.

I was trying for the achievements associated with them the 2nd day I tried completing them all and was unable to finish the final town. (The first day I had already done a couple daily quests, so when I hit the cap I wasn't surprised.) I could be wrong on this and that was just a few short months after release on consoles.

Also you should note that daily writs count toward your cap for the day as well. So if you're doing them in a master crafter that you do writs with daily, you'll have less to complete other dailies.

I asked about his like 2 years ago cause I was doing these quests instead of grinding and only response I got was that I was a no lifer

Cause apparently 50 quests that only take 1-5min each to do is sooo hard.

I think there shouldn't be one. I mean if anything the cap is there for the Cyrodiil AvA quests like capturing keeps and resources, and maybe mostly before the scouting. I remember the day when during empty campaigns you could farm them and get emp that way. But make them dailies instead like with the bounty missions and then have no cap on repeatable's and problems solved.

I am not doing writs with this character, no.
I swear I was able to do them all earlier.
And I agree, why is there a cap...? It makes no sense to me and I cannot think of a good reason of why a cap exists more than: "stop playing and have a life" lmao.
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom can we get an answer please? I am quite sad I cant go back to those days when I made them all every day, the nostalgia

Dailies were capped sometime in mid-2015 to 50 per day. I think this is per character, not by account.

Still seems odd in a genre where the entire point of daily quests is to keep you customers doing something while you make new content.
Can't even distract your playerbase with dailies grind if you cap them.

Hmm, I see. It makes sense. I leveled up my characters around the start of 2015.

And I agree, it seems weird there is a cap on dailies. Yesterday I finished doing them and I was like: "What do I do now..?" I don't want to make them on another character because lately I only enjoy doing them on my main. And yes, it is per character, I checked the day I realized there was a cap. So weird... If there is a cap, this cap is very very low, 50 daillies per day is.. ridiculous, for those like us who love Cyrodiil town quests.
