    It's probably not going to happen, mostly because I can't image ZoS would see enough return on the development time they'd have to put into the new animation. (Edit: and I think we'd all honestly rather see them spending time working on other things)

    Now bareback! I would think that would be easier to include - just code a way to remove the saddle and adjust the placing of the character model on the horse. Seems like it would be easier, anyway.

    I guess I truly would be 'exposed' then. Lmao. By the way, isn't it a nice broom? It makes all the riding forms much easier. Bareback, sidesaddle, etc. You can even sprint without running out of stamina. :trollface:

    Edit: I just realized that I'm way off topic. Anyway, I don't think sidesaddle would be too comfortable. Plus, what if you're attacked while in mid-gallop like that? That'd be a horrible mess of an accident once you've fallen. All types of bones broken.

    I was just thinking about this the other day. I wouldn't mind having the option. I'd have to create another character though complete with the duchess personality. My main wouldn't be caught dead riding sidesaddle! :D

    ... No really, even the duchess being "girly" in no way excuses the mere existence of a side saddle as far as lore goes.


    Something like that doesn't just "come about" without anything pushing it, and... There isn't really anything to push it in TES.

    Your dress get pushed up by sitting astride a horse? ... Fire your idiot tailor, and buy a dress actually made for riding.
