Yes it sucks, i Started on PC then went to PS4 without character transfer and when the news of Pro and Scorpio got released i switched to Xbox knowing i wanted to get a Scorpio. So i have started over 3 times and now in slightly over 2 months on Xbox. It gives you a total different perspective of the game too once you start all over again and realize how big the power creep is.

I see no issues with XBOX/PS transfers from a balance perspective. I have friends that want to transfer from PS to XBOX.

That's nuts. I had about a thousand hours in PC before transfer to PS4 then regretfully played another thousand on PS4. That combined with like $200 in micro transactions I just can't sanction going back.
I'm sure plenty of players would happily drop $60 for an account transfer/merge service in addition to buying the game on the target platform.
Why zenimax wouldn't want to cash in on that is mind boggling.

That being said..it's flipping 2017 already. I remember gaming with people on Macs in the 90s when they had to wait like 6 months for a game to be released. Just make it work Microsoft and Sony.

Is Zenimax still not going to offer paid account transfers between platforms?

Lol yeah no. You can shine a turd, but in the end its still a turd. I truly do hope it Microsoft earns a lot of profit from the Scorpio though. Sony needs some decent competition otherwise they'll get lazy, and take advantage of their monopoly on the console gaming industry.

Why would competing companies want to make it easier for players to leave them for their rival? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense from a financial perspective.

A 6 teraflop turd? That's 5 times Xbox one performance and if it hits a $500 price point than that's twice the performance per dollar of a gaming PC. That's huge. This AMD chip it's using is a big deal.
