@DurzoBlint13, thank you for this constructive feedback. This is a good example of a how response/feedback "should" be. This is a good alternative to try. Thanks again.

It is in fact all the whining about the game that is one of the biggest problems, the game itself is actually pretty good and fun, but there is so much whining by players about specific aspects they don't like that it is being ruined.

As an example, this whole "I don't want to pvp for PvP skills" gets posted here literally once a week if not more. Also, it is pretty easy not to zerg in Cyrodiil contrary to what the OP said. If a post is blatantly inaccurate, it's going to get called out.

The original post is whining and not accurate.

@Zvorgin, it is great you enjoy PvP, but not everyone does. Sure, it is good and fun for you and some others, but also not so fun for many others. It is also good that you and others support PvP, but not everyone does. In regards to your comment on "It is in fact all the whining about the game that is one of the biggest problems." How is this a fact or "blatantly inaccurate," as you said? Is there an official published conclusion from a study by a reputable source for ESO that has been officially accepted by Zenimax, ZOS, Bethesda? For someone to complain about something is not a problem. It is someone voicing what he or she doesn't like or may not agree with. Sure, there are other posts/comments of others that do not like to PvP, as much as there are posts/comments from those who do not like PvE.

What I see is a "big" problem (no, there is no official study nor published journal, it is just my view and opinion) is the negativity in response/feedback and somebody taking a swing at others' post, opinion or view, instead of providing or responding constructively, or, at least, with a constructive criticism. Unfortunately, it is also someone's opinion; although negatively, and it will never cease. We have to deal with it as much as those that do not like to PvP have to deal with it, in order to get those AP needed to level up for Vigor or Caltrop (which, by the way, are not just PvP skills.) It would be nice for those that cannot provide a constructive feedback.. if you don't like it, then just move on, instead of taking a swing and contributing to the problem. I don't know.. maybe curse in silence.. fine.

Bro, you get pissed at people reacting negatively to a post that is full of negativity..you speak of constructive critisism, but gave none..actually stating that being around pvpers made you a worse person, state you hate all pvpers...and then say you do not care what they say..if you make a post like that you damn well better have some thicker skin to deal with peoples retorts....

no problem. It is the little things like fixing walls that tend to get overlooked by a lot of PvEers. If you have a fast horse you can also just run around collecting D-ticks. It would be more risky but would also speed the process up a good bit depending on how active your server is at the time. Also, if you are in a group just collect the 'Kill 20 X-class players' because any kills your groups get will be credited to you for the bounty. And then there is the Resto-mutagen spam- even as a stam class it is easy AP. All of these will get you the skills/AP you want quickly and without having to worry too much about killing players.

I learned, mostly, you can't fight in PvP with the normal rotations you would, otherwise, use in PvE.

    No **** Sherlock. :3

Plus, organized "12-man small scale" group is also as cancerous as PUG zerg group. Stacking destro ults, sap essence, bombs, spin to win on solo players while having 3 freaking healbots in Troll King is so much fun it seems.

Non-meta player, Bone Pirate, Bone Pirate, Skillful player, small group of 12 people.

If you're being targeted and solo ulti'd by organized 12 man groups—it's because they just don't like you for some reason, or they're just not a very good ball group. Or perhaps you're just in their way.

Oh and yes, it is a lot of fun farming the pug zergs with 6 destros, 2 negate tanks, 1 rapids slave and three Healbots. I literally don't even play PvP if my group isn't on—1vX is dead, solo is dead—it'll be more dead next patch, and they patch after that they'll probably mandate that you queue with other people to even reach cyrodiil.

LOL your complaining about having to PvP for a few hours while we PvPers have to spend days in PvE for undaunted and gear sets. [snip]

And us "pve carebears" spent the first two whole years of ESO getting our BiS gear from pvp. Acting like a victim because you have to do some 15 minute pledges... smh

I see people on this thread talking about how pve players frequently don't realize that they can farm AP by doing things like repairing walls. That's actually pretty constructive. For those of you who do strictly pvp, you might benefit from knowing that Undaunted goes a LOT faster if you knock out dungeon achievements, like Slayer challenges, No-Death and Speed runs, etc. They give a major boost to your Undaunted progression.

Yeah, but not 1,000 times if you get a few of these achievements along the way. Some of them will bump up your Undaunted by half a rank or more, and that's a single dungeon clear. I'm not trying over generalize here and act like it isn't a time sink, but the point is that we all have a time sink. I got my proxy and caltrops before they made the changes to make theme easier to get too, and that was quite the grind for anyone on the pve side who genuinely dislikes pvp. I fall in the middle of the spectrum somewhere personally, but it's true nonetheless.

Hawk Eye, Morag Tong, Martial Knowledge, Soulshine, Cyrodiil's Light, and Potentates were all part of a meta setup prior to the major rework of Alliance War skill lines and AP gain. Edit: and Proxy Det / Caltrops were a must for many builds as well, before the rework.

Nope. But you ask that like most of these sets sold for amounts that were remotely affordable for most pve players. They weren't. The people who could afford them were in a small sliver of the pve community. Everyone else had to farm AP and open one coffer a time. So yeah, your point is acknowledged but let's see the whole picture. You can't buy Proxy Det and Caltrops, so there's still that too.

Is asking 3 of your guildmates to spend 15 minutes (let's call it an hour to account for running more than one and not being in a perfect group) with you really ruining your experience?

My point here is not the pve or pvp players have a "worse grind" than the other. The point is that we all have a grind. Undaunted is a helluva lot easier to get up now than it used to be, same as getting Caltrops and Proxy Det, and all the pvp sets.

And I should I speak on vma weapons? or are they somehow not involved???

Do you even know how many people want to do vet trials but cannot because they have to run vMA? PvPers are not the only ones who hate the vMA grind. Having done it near 150 times myself and never gotten a sharpened weapon that I can use, I understand this completely. To act like it affects only half the population is an oversight at least, especially when vMA weapons in pvp are far less mandatory than in pve content. In pve if you don't have vMA, you're going to have a very difficult time getting into something like vMoL with most groups.

And you realize that the changes to guarantee helm drops and to get multiple keys per day was intended to help pvpers get their drops, same as lowering the requirement to get Alliance War skills, right? It affects both sides. Pve players hated the grind for helms too. That's my point, I feel like I have to keep repeating myself when it's obvious I am seeing both sides. It's not that bad, you said so yourself.

You can't call it a choice when pve players were being excluded from endgame pve content strictly because they didn't have stuff from pvp yet. I can and have walked into organized, guild-run pvp events with pve gear and been welcomed with open arms, simply because I'm not stupid and know how to stay with a group. Try joining a guild's vet trials group wearing 7th legion and Ravager, see how quickly you get denied.

Anyway, I'm seeing the big picture just fine. Both sides have a grind, both sides have seen changes to accommodate them a little better. I think it would be good for people to realize that it's not as bad as they are making it out to be, and be at least a tiny bit grateful that it is the way is now, instead of the way it used to be. Feel free to continue to disagree; I've made my point.

The outcome of this weekend in PvP is I have become a worst person. I hate all of you, I hate ZOS and I hate myself. However, for the sake of empathy for those who favor to PvP, I would agree, PvP land does need more contents, variety or an expansion. Still, to me, PvP will always be the darkside of the force of ESO. I don't want care what you all PvPers say. Ha ha

LOL your complaining about having to PvP for a few hours while we PvPers have to spend days in PvE for undaunted and gear sets. [snip]

    [Edit for Flaming]

And us "pve carebears" spent the first two whole years of ESO getting our BiS gear from pvp. Acting like a victim because you have to do some 15 minute pledges... smh

I see people on this thread talking about how pve players frequently don't realize that they can farm AP by doing things like repairing walls. That's actually pretty constructive. For those of you who do strictly pvp, you might benefit from knowing that Undaunted goes a LOT faster if you knock out dungeon achievements, like Slayer challenges, No-Death and Speed runs, etc. They give a major boost to your Undaunted progression.

15 minute pledge about 1,000 times! I remember old PvP and I still have another undaunted level to go on my alt. PvP lines maxed out prior to the everyone gets proxy update

I fall in the middle of the spectrum somewhere personally, but it's true nonetheless.

    what sets were these?

Hawk Eye, Morag Tong, Martial Knowledge, Soulshine, Cyrodiil's Light, and Potentates were all part of a meta setup prior to the major rework of Alliance War skill lines and AP gain.

right and were they ever bound?

You ask that like most of these sets sold for amounts that were remotely affordable for most pve players. They weren't. The people who could afford them were in a small sliver of the pve community. Everyone else had, to farm AP and open one coffer a time. So yeah, your point is acknowledged but let's see the whole picture.

Is asking 3 of your guildmates to spend 15 minutes (let's call it an hour to be fair) with you really ruining your experience?

It is not, I like both PVE and PVP..been playing both since launch....and yes I was asking questions I already know answers too....but let's not act like the fact that you had to buy sets OR had the choice to farm in PvP ,versus the need to farm for BiS monster sets in PvE, are remotely the same....1st, you never even had a 100% chance of a helmet dropping until a few patches in..and then you had to deal with a crap trait....2 dailies at 1 key a piece per toon for a shot at your shoulders.....so speaking of seeing the whole picture, perhaps you should as well?

Pump the breaks big guy, you're getting worked up......I never said I was not grateful, nor did I say I felt one grind was worse than the other...but man you get this salty when someone questions you all the time? My point was that you cannot downplay the grind PvPers do in PvE to get geared.. I understand both sides..I farm for gear sets for pvp and pve...and you jump to conclusions about me bringing Vma weapons in...I never said you did not need to grind for them for Pve...I was just alluding to the fact that you do need them for some builds in PvP....and ps...when ever you have 2 options, you have a choice....grind gold or grind AP...I, as well, have made my point.....

pps when you brought up the reasons why they made changes to the monster set system, you helped me make my point.
Also, not all pvp groups would welcome you in with welcome arms wearing PVE gear, you would be viewed as potential vd proc etc....

Thanks for all the feedback (good, bad, trolling; well.. not really for the trolling), guys. This wasn't a "whining" about if PvP is bad or not; likewise on PvE for the other side of the force. Clearly, there is a separation of those who mainly like to PvP and PvE. There are positives and negatives about both sides. For a guy who mainly do PvE contents, I'm not saying PvP is a bad thing. So, just to tighten up the shot group a bit, it is more of a whining about having to go into Cyrodiil to get Vigor and Caltrop (sure, with a bit of drama. Drama is part of life. Live with it!); whereas these two skillsets should be available to get in PvE for those who do not like to PvP or go into Cyrodiil. Hey, I'm also for you folks that mainly PvP to be able to get the skillsets, i.e. Undaunted, Mage Skill leveling and such without having to venture into PvE land. It would be awesome if these changes/additions are implemented with any future patch/updates.. ZOS?!

Or maybe they are just scrubs with no honour :P

Yup, it's so much fun stacking destro ults and spam sap essence, I can confirm.
