Crown Sales - When will the next Crown Sale happen?

I'm trying to stock up on Crowns.

There's been a lot of new stuff to buy recently, such as Wild Hunt crates, Earthtear Cavern, and much more. So it begs the question......

Are any Crown Sales happening soon? That is all :neutral:

    No one knows, ZOS generally don't announce these early as people just wait and save up for them.

    Dang. I had hoped we would see a sale go on in light of Homestead and before Morrowind..... :disappointed:

    With crown crates now I doubt they will make a sale until Morriwind. They will want to sell crates a full value since people will buy them at any price anyways, thank those guys for that.

    With Morrowind I'm almost sure there will be a sale since most people will have paid 40$ already for the expansion and not willing to spend more, so a discount will make them buy crowns.

    If a Crown Sale doesn't happen, I'll simply pass :/

    Also I have a feeling the Dwemer-
    themed Crown Crates will become available with Morrowind, which would cause the Wild Hunt crates to get discontinued.

    Actually by the end the value of Wild hunt crates will go up, since it will be the last chance to get these mounts, a sale would be unwise. Also as you know wild hunt crates will be removed as soon as dwemer crates drop just like storm crates, so no point there for a discount.

    I have a feeling that we can expect a crowns sale sometime during the Jester's festival at the turn of March and April - pretty much like it was during the Witches Festival. I hope I'm right....

    Actually by the end the value of Wild hunt crates will go up, since it will be the last chance to get these mounts, a sale would be unwise. Also as you know wild hunt crates will be removed as soon as dwemer crates drop just like storm crates, so no point there for a discount.

    The point of the discount would be to have a last chance at swaying people in similar situations as myself to buy them. Otherwise, I'll just pass on them tbh.

    I too am holding out for sales. Too bad other's wouldn't do the same - might actually sway ZOS to get some money vs. none. Btw, in case you haven't met the ZOS Khajiit, it's actually Prince John. :)

    I would say April-May. Nothing is going on in April-May except ESO Anniversary on April 4th :) Good timing for ZOS to get some extra money between now and Morrowind.

    Why would they bother with a sale when they're making so much $$$ right now? The amount of cheapos who won't buy anything unless its at a discount is far less than the amount of people who buy something as soon as they want it.

    Not any time soon. People have been throwing too much money at them lately with homes and new crown crates. There's another new overpriced mount coming in a week so they definitely won't have a sale.

    Maybe they'll take pity on us poor folk that want crown crap and give a sale when their $60 expansion drops.

    There is no way to know if they will continue with periodic sales. I would guess that they will, but they could instead try to push subs more.

    In addition to a sale, they need to have larger packs, or the ability to select QUANTITY of packs. When I go to buy 10 of the 5,500 packs, I have to wait a while between each or the bank blocks it as suspicious activity.

    It's really starting to annoy me, there has been numerous threads, I even sent a PM and there has been no response about a sale. Even if the answer is "no sales soon" I think we deserve some communication from @ZOS_GinaBruno , @ZOS_JessicaFolsom , or at least some one official on what the plan is for future sales. I don't care if the answer is "Never again" "Not before Morrowind" or "Soon", just give us something to work with. I want to get the stuff I want, but the last couple of times I have made major Crown purchases (as in $200+) I have been screwed over by a sale happening with in a week of me dropping all the cash. I have a lot of stuff I want right now and have been waiting to buy crowns, but after it happening twice I am having a hard time brining myself to do it without at least some word from a Dev on if a Sale is around the corner or not on the horizon, I really don't think its too much to ask.

    Sales are for the doldrums, too much activity right now, and people paying full price on crowns to get housing stuff.

    Sales need to drop off before they will reduce the price.
