Second, you need to get major savagery, you are going to have to use pots if you want to run bound armor, though if you dropped that, you could run evil Hunter on your front bar and then caltrops on your back bar.
Either way, you need clatrops, I have them on my overload bar.

Thanks for the reply, but why trap beast? The only decent use I can think of for it is in Maelstrom Arena. Otherwise most of my encounters in-game consist of multiple mobs at once.

Normal trials are not hard at all with an even half incompetent group. My advice is to start running normal crag trials as soon as possible and start collecting pieces of vicious ophidian and maybe two fanged serpent if that looks appealing. I don't personally like two fanged but its easy to get. I had a full set of two fanged armor with useable traits after just two runs. VO will be harder to get but it is worth it. I use hunding's rage myself as a base and have been forever. Works fine for me, though there are likely better options.

With hunter now slotted, I get 73.6% on my main bar (DW) and still have a low 60% on my back bar (bow). It sucks having to have a stat stick there that I don't use, but I can already see a nice improvement in both dps and self heals coming from my main bar.
I have ran my first round of trials yesterday and you're right they weren't difficult at all on normal. I got a few two-fanged pieces including a nice bow with penetration. I'm skeptic about bringing my hunding's to legendary because I'm afraid it will be out-performed by pieces I will get later down the line.. What are your thoughts on this? Two-fanged is good from what I've seen but I feel like hunding's in a way out-performs it for crit builds. I haven't had a chance to delve into VO much so I'd need to do some more research.

If you're not sure about golding items (especially non weapons) DON'T DO IT.
It's way too expensive for way too little if you're not absolutely sure it's what you want.
You're right to think you'll prob go with something else.
Weapons are worth golding for the 200 more wpn/spl dmg.
NMG 5 piece / 2 veli / 3 agility - drop everything else until you obtain TFS (twice fang snake) and vicious ophidian rings/neck
62+% crit is fine plenty of healing with crit surge.
Replace dark deal with rearming as someone previously mentioned.
If you have to use dark deal run max health and regen stam (never put dark deal on your bars or try not to)
Rend ulti front (unless you're like me and run thrive in chaos to get up to 30% increase damage on all abilities)
Dawn breaker on back bar to receive extra 5% weapon damage.
Thats about it mate

If you are open to a race change, that's the first thing I would do. Wood elf can be pretty awesome in PVP, but in PVE, it's prettty terrible. You will do noticeably more damage on a redguard.
Second, you need to make room for Rearming Trap. Not only for the actually DOT damage, but also for the crit buff. The only skill on your bar that looks out of place is frankly Dark Deal. This is an overload bar skill at best, but you really shouldnt need it in PVE. I actually back bar trap and front bar hurricane, but either way works. Caltrops is also nice, but certainly not a requirement. Only one person in any group can use it, and it should be whoever is running Night Mothers.
You also need to get major savagery from somewhere. The easiest way is to simply run potions. The other option is to drop Bound Armaments, for Evil Hunter, but that is a DPS loss as well. What I do in 4 man stuff and VMA is run bound armaments and trash stam potions on trash and non boss rounds, then on boss fights I use weapon Crit Potions (Health, Stam, Weapon Crit). In trials, I would run weapon power potions at all times (Weapon Power, Weapon Crit, Stam) and replace power surge for Vigor or Caltrops.
Only real complaint about your gear is that I wouldnt mix monster sets. Pic a 2 piece (not Kena) and go for it. I think your three best options are Krags, Veli, and Stormfist. You also might want to look into upgrading your enchants to legendary. Kuta is dirt cheap these days. It's the poor mans way to upgrade gear. Even with purple gear, you get the full benefit of a Gold Enchant. Vicious Ophidian and VMA gear would certainly be useful, but I am guessing you know that.
After that, it's all about rotation. If you plan on VMA weapons, you might as well use the VMA rotation. The simple version is Buff Potions, Hurricane, and Surge outside of combat and keep up at all times, then its Rapid Strikes>Rending Slashes>Rapid Strikes>Trap>Hail>Poison Injection, Rapid Strikes Spam until Rending needs reapplied, Repeat. Light weave everything.

I do have an alternate stamsorc Khajit that I used to play on but I've been enjoying wood elf for the most part but I get what you're saying.
I will probably invest in some crit potions that could bring me up to 80%+ if they stack with the passive from evil hunter. I've been experimenting with rearming trap and although I still barely use it (mostly because I'm not used to it..) I like the 10% damage it gives and it also adds another bit of % to damage for being a fighters guild ability.. However I am now running into some issues with resource management and my stamina runs out quick, being ~31-32k with consumables and having 900 regen.. which sucks because I didn't think with that regen it wouldn't be too much of an issue.
I am thinking about swapping hunding's for two-fanged snake.. I would do spriggans but it's just too expensive at the moment. I also have been considering Velidreth's set for as long as I can remember.. I just can't find a group willing to run through vCoS with my current cp (now being 300) and always wanting someone with like 30k dps.. which I find ridiculous. But yeah, otherwise I agree with a lot of what you're saying - and thanks for showing me the VMA rotation. My current goal at the moment is to build my stamsorc to the point where I can actually DO VMA.. cause right now I'm still stuck on the second stage and can't seem to sustain through the final 3 centurions.

Who is asking for 30k dps vCoS?... thats just people being ridiculous.
I do around 30k and its not uncommon for me, a healer friend, and a tank to 3 man vet dungeons.
I would set a minimum for all vet dungeons at like... 15k. If you can sustain that amount and work with the mechanics... you will get through all vet dungeons. It will just take a few extra minutes.
Mechanics > DPS in almost every instance of this game
