Legendary Rings of Necropotence - W.T.F.

I've just checked Belkarth, Rawlkha and Wayrest (will check more in a moment. This is on EU PC) and every single trader except for 2 in Belkarth are ONLY selling Rings of Necropotence. Nothing else. Just Rings of Necropotence at every single trader.

I smell several rats....

But where are all the other rings. There used to be variety but now theres' literally nothing (except 2 traders in Belkarth - 1 selling 2 shadow dancer and another selling 2 x elegant)

BTW - if anyone want to sell me a couple of legendary Rings of the Sun for a stupidly low price, message me, LOL.

I'm doing Caldwell's Gold and just hit Rivenspire yesterday.

I am fully decked out in Necropotence junk because it's dropping from quests, mobs, dolmans literally everywhere.

Maybe Zos should turn down the drop rate because if people think there's a conspiracy the drop rate is probably set to high.

I guess that some of the gold sellers got wind of the AP week and farmed their arses off. Since it was necropotence on the golden that week, if I remember correctly, that is what you see on those guild traders.

Well same thing happened with Spinner and Spriggan rings last patch.
Everybody is farming those as it is bis for magsorcs this patch and will be for mag wardens and magsorcs next patch. The market for necro staffs will also collapse for saturation in market like it did for spriggan and spinner.

2 trial sets. No overland drops in trials. 1pc from the minor slayer / aegis sets and the other sets dropped in trials like poisonous serpent and wise mage and twice fanged.

this^^^ they will be in high demand (at least at first) when everyone is running around playing pet builds. I will probably start out running it too but will see how things play out before I know what is 'good' for a warden

It doesn't do that anymore. They changed that with One Tamriel. Which is why trials are not exactly very profitable anymore. I used to make so much gold from just doing what I would normally do and then... well now I have to do boring stuff like farming to make gold.

On the other hand they added Undaunted Plunder which is about 12-15K per veteran trial run. A good group can run those in about half an hour. Not that bad actually. It's hard to tell if farming normals back in the day gave you better rewards overall, since you wouldn't get a sale worthy piece every run and that wouldn't sell right away on a guild store.
