    In game music Metal most of the time. Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy and Avantasia are my favorite bands.

    Sometimes I listen to other things, but not very often.

    The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

    I turn the general music off, but keep the abilities sound high and play some Chillstep/Rock/Metal Step and RnB Metal Step.
    Favourite time is during PVP, gives added effect when you knock down an opponent on a bass drop or killer rift.
    I am demanding better customer service from Zenimax Studios.

    If I'm doing a dungeon I like to listen to songs by Nirvana and other similar bands

    but if I'm just wandering around or doing a quest I've done a million times before I like to listen to something slower! like Hozier, Van Morrison, Lana Del Rey or maybe Regina Spektor

    Although usually I don't listen to music while playing ESO, I only do when it's something I've done before

    For the grinds, this keeps me awake and having fun. For dungeons especially I need in game sound to help mark combat mechanics. No music sounds interesting for this, I'll have to try it.

    And when battle grounds drop, Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori (Halo soundtracks) all the way!

    Always the in-game music. Unless I'm fishing or doing something else really repetitive (like Jester's Festival) and need the extra stimulation of songs changing. Then it's my library, which has a little of everything, on shuffle.
