    It's a mix for me.

    If I am playing story or new content I use the games music.

    If I am grinding or doing vMSA I listen to the Crypt of the Necrodancer soundtrack, or a trance channel for online radio.

    If I am just chilling with friends I throw my music library on random, which is basically some of everything but mostly rock.

    Other because while one of the styles I listen is there (rock), I just stick my iTunes library on shuffle and let it play whatever which can result in j-pop and some electro stuff

    With a game like ESO whose soundtrack is awesome enough to play on its own why would I want to listen to anything else ... @Liofa, yeah Nighwish with Tarja were great, but not with a video game. :p

    I listen to a variety of musical genres while I play. I think different storylines fit with certain styles of music.

    - Nickelback for the TG storyline
    - Frank Sinatra for the DB storyline
    - A mix of Pantera, Deftones, and Eminem while questing in the EP
    - 2SFH, Eagles, and Slipknot for DC
    - Fleetwood Mac for the AD

    Of course, I like to mix things up. You're just as likely to hear me play some low fi hip-hop while exploring a delve or some dubstep while I shop the guild traders.

    Tl;dr
    I have weird taste in music :D

    Depends, first time on a quest line I will listen to the game music and speech. Then sometimes an eclectic radio station or it could be radio drama/comedy. Makes the hours of questing fly-in.

    Gary Moore, nice one. Seen him loads of times as I come from near Belfast. Saw Rory Gallagher a few times in Belfast too. Another great blues guitarist sadly no longer with us.

    Both are trance radio shows the feature hundreds of other Trance artists.

    I used to be heavy/death metal fanatic in my young days, but as soon as I heard Armin, I fell in love with Trance and never looked back. It helps me chill and focus and think deep thoughts. Only other music I listen to nowadays apart from Trance is New Age Piano music.
