Best melee ultimate for NB in dungeons and raids

Which do experienced players reckon is the "best" ultimate for a melee Nightblade in dungeons and raids? The choice seems to be between Soul Harvest (Assassin line), Rend (DW line) and Flawless Dawnbreaker (Fighters' Guild).

On the face of it, Rend II, causing 33,939 physical damage over 16" plus a 50% heal of damage done sounds unbeatable, but I gather there are other views.

Lacerated/rend will likely be best for raw damage. Aggressive warhorn for group support of neither the healer or tank are running it.

    PS4 / NA
    M'asad - Khajiit Nightblade - Healer
Pakhet - Khajiit Dragonknight - Tank
Raksha - Khajiit Sorcerer - Stamina DPS
Bastet - Khajiit Templar - Healer
Leonin - Khajiit Warden - Tank

If you have MSA weapons , I would say Rend but if you don't have ; Flawless Dawnbreaker on front and Incap Strike on back bar works amazing . Every 2 rotation , do an Incap from back just before you go back to front bar . That 20% damage increase boost DPS a lot . Something like this but ultimates swapped :

In that video , I have Incap on front bar . Putting that on back and having Flawless on front gave me more DPS . Also , this was during PTS where Twice-Fanged was bugged . I would probably get more with that instead of Spriggan .

You lose more than you gain in that scenario, warhorn is only 10% crit damage for 10 seconds so unless that is more than 40k it's not worth it.

Passives matter. Slotting flawless gives you 8% weapon damage bonus at all times. Slotting Incap increases crit chance, and if you use no other assassination skill, 10% crit damage. Rend is passiveless, but also has a technical execute (dw OP).

Single target damage wise? Probably Incap or Flawless with passives accounted. For low target enemies or crowds, thrive in chaos specifically can be insane (16k steel tornados insane).

You can also try what @Liofa said and back bar Incap to use, front bar Flawless for damage buff.

Its also Max Hp, Stamina and Magicka for 30s. But yea obviously you don't want to run in a group where the tank and healers don't have that if you are looking for max DPS and smooth runs.

If you are the only other dps you are just boosting one persons damage by a marginal amount.

Thanks for all the input. I'm not near to running MSA, so it looks as though Flawless will be it for the time being. I'm experimenting with Incap on the back bar, but I like to run with melee on the front bar and bow on the back, and would hate to lose Toxic Barrage. (And yes, I know bows are generally scorned, but I've put together a dedicated bow ability build including all three eagle-eye jewels which I'm happy with at the moment).

    Again, thanks for the advice!
