The only place it disrupts another players game experience, imo, is the dye station. You literally cannot see the dye on your armor or costume if someone is throwing mudballs at you. Elsewhere, it is harmless.

But, the mud balls are still funny as hell. They still make me laugh. Some of these mementos are a hoot.

While I can understand the Dye Station issue - this is 100% on Zenimax.

Either don't provide things like this, or put in a toggle (as was referenced above that another game did).

Don't give players a Gold Reward from a Festival and expect it not to be used...

(and for the record, I rarely use it and only on people I know).

Well... some people dont like it. Feels like a troll. Feels like some one is bored with the game and is trying to anger people for fun.

Playing devil's advocate here. I dont care. And why you do and feel the need to come here and complain about it is beyond me. In the greater scheme of ESO and on a scale of 1-10 on my list of priorities about the game, this ranks at about minus 1000.

Not going to lie, I didn't understand your point. Not sure if you are directing your statement at me either.

Unless you are maliciously stalking someone, following them around mudballing them over and over, then it is absolutely ridiculous to think people can get any disciplinary action for using something ZOS themselves added to the game.

Every time I see someone on their pay-to-jelly Casino Crate mount I mudball them.

I dare anyone to report me for harassment.

I like throwing mud balls at people playing the lute. Twice I have been asked if I was out of tomatoes. Usually though no reaction at all.

Lately whenever I leave my house and people are out front I say, you damn kids get out of my yard. I got one mud ball as a response and a couple of funny tells back, but again usually no reaction.

I've learned to accept fat Orcs running around in a pink towel so I guess I can handle a few mud balls.

and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

I will admit. I get annoyed when I get mud-balled while wearing my best gown, while in town. do you have any idea how hard it is to get mud out of silk without ruining it? but.. I won't report you. I'll just perform black sacrament and once you are dead? take all your money and replace the ruined gown with it.

You should do what my Breton does and simply enchant your clothing to resist all forms of "dirt". It looks like the mud is there but wait a few seconds and it magically disappears thanks to a few simple enchantments. Also great for when you are out killing monsters and bad guys. No more worrying about how on nirn you will get blood stains and ichor out of your favorite ball-gown.

that is a fabulous idea! I would like to purchase that enchant from you, as I'm just a lowly stamblade, and my magics are just not refined enough to accomplish something like that

Madame Firilanya does some clothing work for me. I can have her send you out a package for me the next time she's in town. You can sample the enchantments and see if they meet your needs. If you need more, just let her know and we can talk price then. They really are quite simple to make.

Lovely lady, Madame Firilanya, if you haven't hired her you should. She does fabulous work.

Some people actually like being/pretending to be offended so they can make a dramatic scene to feel important and/or have a reason to attack someone.

    Probably one of these peepz.

Wow, that person has serious issues. People around her weren't even intentionally egging her on or trolling like they do on these forums. The girl she kept calling a %^$^ was actually being calm and polite about it.

Good example of someone taking the "I'm offended" thing way too far to the point of being totally rude and offensive themselves. She became the problem.

I'm personally not bothered by having people throw mudballs at my character, with the obvious exception being if/when I'm dyeing my armor/costume. I've had ppl follow me around crafting stations as I do writs, mudballing me whenever it dries off - I just ignore em and continue doing what I'm doing as it doesn't stop, or interfere with, my crafting.

And the only time it could have been annoying, due to me previewing outfits from crown store, the person stopped when I asked if they could stop so I could preview stuff. So meh, if others have fun mudballing me... go for it and have your fun, it's a game.
