Imperial Stam Tank or Nord Stam Tank?

I'm currently imperial for the resources right now but is the nord resistance bonus worth it because frost resist and health regen isn't a big thing for tank now so which one should I use?
I'm also running a Dk.

With the way the damage formula works out the Nord damage resistance is not worth much. Basically it's applied at the end after other calculations so it's 6% of a smaller number. It's definitely not the flat 6% that it reads like it should be.

I'm running a nord stam DK tank for the time being and I am quite pleased with his tankiness. The Nord passives are pretty great. Compared to Imperial, the health and stam buffs are in the same ballpark, and the health recovery is about the same from my experience. Both races are great choices for a tank. Just go with whichever you like best.

Imperial. Max Stats FTW. Goes much further than the damage reduction from Nord. As has been pointed out it is figures in after all other damage reduction has happened.

That 6% if more like 2 or 3% damage reduction. Probably close to 2. Will it work, yes, but no the preferable choice.

Is it really that tanky(3%)and is health/stamina recovery as important as max health/stamina? DK passives and constitution allows you to sustain with little to no recovery. Frost resist isn't much but will be op as hell when morrowind comes out(like poison in DB)

For a tank that passive and frost resistance adds VERY VERY LITTLE. And the extra resources form an Imperial will give you more in the long run. Even an Argonian with their amazing resource management is better than a Nord Tank in my opinion. Also DK Tank is neither a stamina tank nor a magicka tank, since a DK focuses on Max Stamina and Magicka recovery. If you are a tank you tank, you are neither stamina nor magicka.
