I was happy to get 5 or the Sanctuary light armor set to drop, but it seems the three green balls and VERY annoying sound affect is always going to be there when wearing this armor?? Gaaaahhh!! Is there any way to get rid of these effects. I hate it really. Very annoying. Please help!

There's no way to get rid of them. Same goes for the blue balls from Worm Cult or the red balls from Ebon Armory. Would be quite nice to have 2 of those set equipped at the same time :)

You would think that since they changed Magelight they would apply the logic to these sets as well.

Personally, I like the orbs, and did also for Magelight, but I understand the desire to turn them off for a multitude of reasons.

    I agree.

And also - a bit off topic - I wish they'd return the Magelight skill to an actual 'mage light', especially now that it's not constantly on all the time. It would be nice to have it as an option to light up the dark areas in dungeons and similar for a few seconds to look for those hidden items.
If you can be anything, be kind.

Ok, I get that Tryxus, good point -- if whoever I get matched with in dungeons even knows that... I sure didn't.. had to google it when the green balls started going around and oh that whirring sound...that's the worst part. Jeez. Or maybe the worst part is im saving up a set of Ebon for my Templar...there will be no relief!!! (Insert dogs and ball jokes here

I take what I can get really. If it drops and is relevant to my character i use it. Had a great set before this I kept too long that gave my restoration staff extra power. And no annoying side effects!

Because if you are a healer your job is to boost and support your group and worm cult does just that.

If you don't like balls (haha) go for Mending... Sanctuary is useless imo.

Spell Power Cure is a given. But what other set do you add to it? Worm Cult is one of the best, especially with the nerfs to Elemental Drain and Force Siphon that have made group sustain more difficult.

SPC is my main set. I use necropotence as my off set and I wear Bogdon's. I have crazy high magicka. Interestingly, I can solo a resource in this gear. Bogdon always drops at just the right time. I think that if I didn't love Bogdon so much, I would add a Kagrenac set for the quick res time. Also, one of the folks I do trials with already wears Worm, so it isn't needed. It doesn't stack.

    Indeed!

But then, the worm cult has always been a bit... suspiscious.

I mean... "WORM cult", Doctor Freud would have a field day with that alone...

Or worse the full name, "Order of the Black Worm", I mean, I don't want to make the obvious redguard joke here, but... it does reek of a certain kind of envy among the cultists, does it not? A bit of... embarrassment over their... shortcomings, perhaps?

It would explain why they are so into magic to make dead things rise... they probably misunderstood the use of potency runes...

And quite obviously they follow Molag Bal, otherwise known as the King of Ra... errr... guess I can't really tell you that one here, but just look it up... but it makes total sense again the wormies would be going for him as their daedric prince of choice in hopes of... getting some chance to bring their worms into play?

    :p;)

Worm cult should also add a fun effect, like increasing the number of worms from plant nodes by 50%.

They are a fixture of the sets. I've had two sets with orbs equipped and the same time and really havenit noticed any issues with sound or animations being noticeable.

Maybe sound effect volume is set a little high.

SPC paired with worm cult or mending are the sets of choices for end-game healers nowadays. Each healer needs one of them so its best to have both so you can swap between them.

Sanctuary is a good set as well. When there are two tanks one can wear work or something. I have worn Worm as a tank in vMoL when the two healers were wearing the other two sets.

I wondered what those green balls were about. I thought it was coming from one of those mementos.

What is the blue sphere that surrounds some players coming from? Another armor set?

These are the three other sets in their old styles. I think all three styles have been updated since.

Blue is worm and provides 5% magika cost reduction to the group.
Red is Ebon and provides an additional 1k+ max health to the group
    Green is either
Hercine providing additional stam regen to the group and hope no one in your group is wearing it.
Or sanctuary and everyone nearby gets additional healing.

Mending trumps sanctuary any time so mending > work > sanctuary when in trials

Wait, Sanctuary produces the same effect as Hircine's? I was totally unaware of this and thought people were just rocking Hircine's on their healer builds...

I don't like that, I mean I like sets have effects that let you know they're working but... sharing an effect like this? ZOS Should really really make the sanctuary orbs another color, maybe just make them look like the healing morph for Orbs. That would be pretty rad, actually.
