Considering prosperous is basically the most useless trait at the moment and nobody wants it what if prosperous also increased your Telvar stone gains as well? I would love to see this change to prosperous personally
Playing on PS4 NA server and current characters are CP 750

Lvl 50 EP High Elf Magsorc PvP (outdated)
Lvl 50 EP Wood Elf Nightblade (Currently my crafter)
Lvl 50 EP High Elf Magplar PvP (outdated healbot)
Lvl 50 EP Redguard Stam DK PvE (updating)
Lvl 50 EP Dark Elf Mag DK PvP

All my builds are outdated...I quit for a year lmao

I'd rather it was deleted instead of buffed. Dunno why they'd make a set that only benefited chinese goldsellers anyways.

I think prosperous would've gone better as the other half of the reduce damage to gear trait (impenetrable now, sturdy originally I believe) both deal in saving you gold so it would've made sense. A straight up buff wouldn't make it much better imo. As it is prosperous sucks. I want weighted back for weapons and something new for armour to replace it. Maybe a % increase to buff durations cast by/affecting you or something

you can deal good damage and survive with prosperous traits on your armor in the sewers ?
    wow, that's quite the compliment.

Just remove the damn thing from the loot tables already. Merge it with training and give it as a free starter trait for crafters.

i have a theory that what happened from the design table was that dungeon runs and bosses were going to be really easy for people and that allot of drops would be falling in peoples hands ALLOT. and perhaps with that in-mind they wanted to add more variety to what dropped instead of a constant sharpened and impen trait.

Been talked about a few times and I think TV buffs are better constrained to sets from IC.

It's not much of a buff if only people with a specific PvP related DLC get benefits from it.

and calling IC PvP related is already a bit of a stretch ;)

    not what i meant.
im saying that the developers did not want people to have boredom from a constant flow of impen and sharpened traits drops. kinda like having pizza every single night. after a while it gets a bit old.

Sure Jitterbug, but it still stands that buffing traits for DLC exclusive bonus isn't a good idea.

They just need to either make the gains worth it, or think of something new to do with it.

However it doesn't matter what they do until Divines is not the best thing for 90%* of the games builds.

*I made this figure up, so don't start arguing it people.

Prosperous doesn't even work right . Put on a full set and go loot mobs and see for yourself . Last time I did it , I got zero bonus with a full suit . Mobs gave the same gold with or without it . Unless there's a patch note I missed the entire line should be scrapped .

I know, I know - wasn't having a go at you ;) just a weak attempt at humor. I do think though that the amount of people sick of getting prosperous on cp160 gear surpasses the amount of people who would be bored from getting useful traits.
My theory is that the prosperous and training traits exist on the end game loot tables only to dilute them.

I totally agree. IMO even the tel var sets are pretty weird, or at least gimmicky at best.
And 90% sounds about right. 1% tanks and 9% pvpers (of which some also run divines anyway).

I think removal is going to cause more issues than just changing it again. Removal means we need to change the whole traits research and achievements system, call me cynical but I don't trust ZOS to not breaking something horrible by touching that.

The trait idea isn't bad, they just didn't give it enough of a boost to be viable. There are two sides of anger at it from my understanding, 1. it pads tables stopping good trait drops and 2. it's pointless even if you do get it.

We need a system where every trait is beneficial to get for some reason, yes there will always be meta and BiS but it's only in the last year we've really seen Divines only. There used to be desire for infused.

I actually like prosperous on my gear I use for stealing shet and selling it. Can gain 40K+ every day if I do my route (:

How much of it is from prosperous, it effects the snips of 50g(if you're killing), not your sale of stolen goods :p

I don't think Prosperous works that way. The trait text reads "Increases gold from looting enemies by X" from my understand that's the raw gold you get from looting, like the Imperials bonus of 1% and ESO+'s 10%.

still some income ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and if it turns out the trait doesn't work, I still make 40K+

Edit; Yes I do kill people
