Two days ago something strange happened to my clanfear. While I was fighting a world boss another clanfear appeared from somewhere. I thought it was another pet sorc. But no, there was no other sorc. The clanfear was mine. I played all night with three active and attacking pets. When I checked my character menu to see all active effects – there were also three active pets. Even later that night one of my clanfears was killed and unfortunately I couldn’t summon him back.
And all that happened to me yesterday again.
Anyone the same?

It only happened once and after they died it was back to normal

✭✭✭✭✭There was a bug a while back where you could sometimes summon multiple pets (separate from the double atro bug), but I couldn't reliably replicate it intentionally to report it. Guess it's made a return?
This was caused from lag, and used to be of regular occurrence back when VR14 was cap. Possibly earlier than that, although that was when the bug was last seen (to my knowledge).
You see, the lag used to cause certain abilities with long cast times to be doubled. Including for whatever the reason Storm Atronachs as well. And with Azura's Star being by far the most laggy server at the time (before it became a CP-less campaign), this glitch of sorts could be done at will. Almost most of the time accidentally from repeatedly spamming certain skills to get them to register (hence the lag). So it'd be common to see people running around with 2 Clanfeers and 2 Twilights. Or worse, see people dropping multiple Storm Atronach ultimates. Mind you that this was on PS4 even, and not just PC. Ruling out CE from the equation.
If you dig around these forums hard enough, I'm pretty certain that you can come across some threads about the glitch. Although again, it is rather dated. To think that something so potentially dangerous could be returning... I wonder. . .0 -

I'm a stamDK, by root and heart, but with all the hub bub about how good a sorc is, I actually went over to the dark side (ha ha) and created a high elf magsorc during this double xp Jester event. Those Daedric summoning things are awesome. I actually soloed a couple world bosses at level 10 and 15, while using those things. Now, I get it.. why certain dude are to able to solo (cough, cough) vCoS, vWGT or take down a trial boss sololy. Those things act as your tank and healer. All you do is keep dpsing while those things are distracting the boss and adds. Plus, the damage shield and other protective skills of a sorc are just sick. Man, oh man. No nerfing, please. I will be always be a stam at heart, but I am liking my new sorc and the skillset.. plus, she's an eye candy. Ha ha.0 -

The bug has been around since last summer at least, and while it can seem random, it certainly is not. It also DOES work in Cyrodiil.
And since I don't play a sorc or care about the feelings of the guy who popularized it on XBox NA (you'll know him from the Drowning Pool blaring in area chat) here is how you do it.
Basically the sorc pet takes a second or two to do the animation, but the actual spell takes only a split second. If you just spam, for example, X-X-X-X a ton of times really fast you'll reliably be able to cast 2 of the same pets. It works with 80 or 90% reliability if you get the cadence down right.

Around August of last year XBox had about a month long period where every 5th person had 2 pets. A few posts started popping up on here about it and it went, for lack of a better term, underground. I have not seen it in many months so I assumed it was patched out. Seems however that it just lost its popularity over time.
I do want to reiterate that if you do it you're asking to get reported.0 -
