Macroslicing in Xbox one becoming more prominent?

About 5 times yesterday when trying to escape zergs, especially the inevitable crit Rush spammers, I've been seeing myself get cc outta no where by freezing in place, so I cc break and keep running, then I hear clank clank clank (2h moves) from nowhere, then I see a dude throw himself at me stuck in the crit Rush animation.

This is on a half dead server in the afternoon, not really on prime time, so I can't say lag is a culprit.

    Maybe.....Xbox hasn't taken the suggestion of many developers to actively monitor, disable and or ban usage.

    I doubt getting dizzying swinger from 20 feet away is talent. Maybe even server lag, been prominent since homestead.

    Well...I just don't feel comfortable saying it's something we can't confirm.
    There's a topic where ZOS identifies server and client interactions may stall and to us it presents itself as different things and even in extreme cases will cause us to disconnect.

    Theres also the presence of many error pop ups which maybe happen more often behind the scenes
    There's also an obvious lack of graphical representation of input. Ppl talk about animation cancelling and animation changes as well as if you were to compare a gaming PC visual presentation to what we see on Xbox One 30 fps and much less settings, it could be that the game is playing but we aren't seeing it play.


    Think about when you're out and you think you see something or if you're in combat, you don't pause your button inputs to see animations so perhaps there more of a need for higher fps and better graphical output but system limitations are involved.


    Hopefully it's something much more simple as a server or client change ZOS can implement on the May update

    I'm certainly not suggesting anything about the situation you have posted on, however he may have seen enough in game forums to know 2 things.
    1. There isn't enough information in the OP for anyone to see what really happen and how far or close anyone was to you.
    2. So many threads about dying in PvP are posted that leave out important info that most take them with a grain of salt. Not comparable but QQ about dying to a skill saying the skil is OP and it turns out that he played was attacked by 6 others at the same time and most were using that skill.

    I never said I died... I can outran them, which I do like 4/5 times

    1. It sounds like you were being chased by a zerg. A million things can CC you.

    2. Sounds like regular ani-cancling. Good players can crit rush, dawnbreaker, wrecking blow cancled by exucute cancled by light attack. All takes around 2-3 secs when lined up right.

    Macroslicing is a glitched caused by being stuck in the gapcloser animation. Happens mostly with Crit Rush, but it can also happen with Toppling. It's not a lag thing, it's mostly when LoS is broken, or when the game glitches on its own.
