✭✭I know that for game play wise this is to prevent ppl use assistants to take out pvp equipments and store tel var....but hey why don't we make everyone's lives easier

yeah i mean this shouldn't even be considered as a bad thing....you need them on you so you can gain more stones, and when there are immediate danger you won't be able to store them anyway0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Performance in Cyrodiil has always been pretty terrible when you get more than 25 vs. 25 happening.
Although it's just a theory. Now that I think about it minions are immune to damage so there shouldn't be additional server load calculating damage for them.
It may just be about not wanting to clutter things up or like someone else said, not wanting to give anyone an advantage that might be construed as "pay to win."0 -

It's a little of column A, and a little of column B. Assistants work off the noncombat pet system which was originally disabled in PvP because there were issues getting them to stealth correctly. ✭✭✭✭✭I can think of a number of reasons why the assistants are not allowed.
1) 1 believe they (ZOS) disabled non combat pets because of stealth reasons (The pets were not disappearing from what I understand). So having a assistant out (which is a kind of a non combat pet when you think about it) may give away your position.
2) Perhaps they disabled assistants so players will not have an advantage in being able to store large amounts of gear or siege equipment. (Rats, I am out of Forward camps! Oh wait, I may have some in my bank!) Having that banker, which is only available as an option with real money only, will give some players a real advantage and feels a bit like "buy to win".
3) "Let's gank that guy he is traveling alone. Oh Wait! There are two of them! Let them pass we can look for an easier target." Or "There are two players guarding the mill. Or is it one and a banker. No wait it is two... Or maybe one..."
Or "There is 20 attackers at the mine!.. Or maybe ten players with assistants!... Same thing, right?"
4) "Dude, I just wasted a group healing you because I though there was two players there! Don't have your banker out noob!"

✭✭✭If you have a cosmetic pet out and you summon an assistant, the pet goes away until you dismiss the assistant.
So the game treats assistants the same as pets. And since pets aren't allowed....
Well, anyway, ZOS would have to separate the two so that you could have a pet and an assistant at the same time.
