ESO is realistic, character degenerates while leveling.

Hey ;)

So i thought about this thing where my buffed stuff gets less buffed as my character progresses and gains levels.. Also CP

Things take longer to die, my character gets weaker in a way while getting levels..

In other games i played, character gets stronger when they gain level, they get harder to kill, thiungs die faster, resources last longer or are infinite, abilities deal more damage and heal more..

In many aspects of character progressions, ESO is exact opposite to other MMORPG's

This feels odd but then i realised, developers were trying to do a "Get older and feeble simulation to the game and succeeded. Only thing that now is absent, is the automatic age slider implement. This is most likely coming soon..

Amway, hope you find the sarcasm amusing as i laugh at this thing very often :dizzy:
Good day folks!

Really, we only get weaker as we level up if we don't improve our armor at all. Usually if I make [training] gear in the level 3-10 range it'll be functionally acceptable for a good while, but if I keep using it well into the 20s and 30s, that's where it starts feeling like I'm practically naked.

So the lesson to take away is:
Change your shirt every once in a while and you'll stay young and strong like the greatest warriors.

Don't incorporate bugs into your builds, and you won't have [an] issue.

Sarcasm is lost on the gear types clearly ;)

Anyways, compared to other games, if you keep same level gear with same quality on other games, you get stronger with the same quality as long as level of gear is same as you. Some abilities in other games get stronger even without ever upgrading gear, not to mention numbers.

In ESO, if i wish to be as strong as i was at level 10 for example, i basically need legendary quality weapons and dungeon quality item sets, this is not required in other games i played.

Anyways, its just a get feeble and old simulator. I knoww many people in real life dress up as yangsters even when they are 70 years old to feel younger. The same is true on ESO "Get older" simulation. You need to have nice clothes so you feel stronger when you log in ;)

That's not true. You get additional resource buffs. You can easily create a build for lvl 15 with stats that are completely impossible to reach with a 600cp char.

But really, I agree with op. I don't have dungeon sets and I'm not fully golded out (fully purple, haven't found prismatic runes yet) but I feel a lot weaker at cp 300 than I was lvl 1-50 in greens and blues.

Yeah it happens when i am struggling to keep a 5 piece bonus from the zone gear I have got from doing the quests. running around at level 40 with a level 20 weapon because its the only way to have a 5 pc running.

Sometimes the heavy armor for the zone is stam and not mag that you need or vice versa.

When i was in my first play through I was scared of world bosses and public dungeons so I would be stuck with terrible gear of certain types if I didn't get it from a quest reward.
