Princess Rescuer Achievement.
I am not sure about anyone else but i find the Rescuing princess the pig the most difficult achievement to get out of the Jester event achievements. though i managed to just do it yesterday which i was most pleased about! it was a good one to work to get though and very frustrating.

✭✭✭✭✭Got it on my Sorc day one, then kept failing on my Nightblade (someone told me cloak didn't work so I didn't try) and getting frustrated until a friend said you can just run behind the Ebony Flask and never get spotted... Now I could earn it every day with ease.

I done it with my Khajiit Templar, i dont know if any race etc would make a difference, i heard that it would only work for nightblades but others found it never worked for their nightblades, i found keeping left and watching for were the butcher is in the market place then you are good. i have the skill that reduces my detection radius too. At first when i got out of the town toward completing the quest i was convinced i had failed to get the achievement. when it came up on my screen i had done my celebratory dance lol.1

GilGalad✭✭✭✭✭I got it on my Sorc without realizing on the first try. I fed her the apples, mounted and used the speedbuff like I always do when I'm questing. Took the left stairs up to the town and then went straight to the quest giver to return it. My horse is maxed out, so maybe it's not about sneaking but being fast! ^^3 -

✭✭✭✭I've succeeded with the gallop strategy on less than max horses (maybe 20-25 levels of speed skills, almost all speed instead of stamina). But of course that's using some version of Rapid Maneuvers.Edited by FrancisCrawford on March 29, 2017 10:27AM0 -
RoyalPink06✭✭✭✭✭I did it with mount speed of 1, so that is not a factor.
Just take the path to the left, and there's a space between the back of the buildings and the border wall that will take you all the way to the city entrance without getting spotted. Super easy.
You also don't even have to get off your mount to feed the pig.

That happened to me once, basically I just turned around until I got it back and then continued the same way. A bit buggy, I guess, since I've taken that route every time and only had that problem once.
