    that said, i'm really partial to mounts that don't pause every third or fourth set of gallops/lopes, too.

    they can be quite hard to find, some days. :/

    I like the good old horse.
    For me it looks wrong to ride on anything else.
    I've used the previews, but I can't bring myself to get anything else than a horse. :)

    Welp, I seem to be the odd girl out :neutral:

    I really like the camel. I think they are hysterical, especially when I jump at the top of the stairs.

    I have the the white horse from preorder DCE and now the silly camel but I spend most of my time on foot, I run everywhere because I gather while questing. People probably think I'm a scrub with no mount :)

    I do like the fact that there are enough different weird mounts and pets that each of my way-too-many characters can be very individual.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Camel all the way. I think my bosmer would look so sweet in a camel running around. I know most people hate the camel but I think it's dope.

    I'm going back to horse. I used to love my Guar, but it seems like it glitches and refuses to gallop all the time. Horses don't seem to do that as often.

    Also, non-horse mounts were cool when they were uncommon. Now, it's just getting absurd out there. Riding a horse un-breaks "mah immerzion."

    The WHY is easy... because they are the quietest mounts in the game. I don't want to sit and listen to loud, obnoxious noises while traveling... this is why I can never use a horse mount... and other mounts I have tried also have a distracting movement sound. However, the large cats are typically pretty quiet while moving.

    I like horses, but nothing plain. I would love to get the current crown crate horse that looks like an elk.

    My second favorite would be the wolf. That said, I'm riding the new senche on my main, and have the new bear on one of my alts.

    The loyalty/subscriber Senche Tiger from before the game dropped its sub fee will always be my favorite, until they do flame atro mounts.

    Simple 'ol classic horse for me. I do like a bit different, been using the nightmare horse since I got him in the beginning. I still wish there were in game earnable mounts.

    That guy in wayrest promised me he would get some bears for a year. A YEAR! before I got one. Ive been wanting one since release because of him. And now I got them. All except the crown crate ones
