Night Mother's Gaze vs Hunding's Rage?

Hi everyone,

I just recently leveled my stamina Sorcerer to cp and was wondering what was a better choice of gear for him?

I'm currently using 5 piece Toothrow, 5 piece Night Mother's Gaze and 2 piece Morag Tong (rings) for a bit of extra weapon damage. Most of the armor is Divines, with 1 infused (jack) and 1 Impenetrable (belt). Not BiS, I know, but just what I have right now. Using Thief mundus.

Is this an okay build? I've been told that Hunding's Rage might be better than Night Mother's Gaze?

As a side question, how much dps should I be pulling off with this set up? Last I tried (without food) I was getting around 12k dps on the target dummy, though I'm not sure how much resistance the target dummy has, and thus how Night Mother's Gaze performs on it.

    I have heard you want exactly one person to have NMG in a group.

    Thanks for that link, it was pretty informative!

    It makes sense to only have 1 NMG in a group since I'm assuming the NMG debuff doesn't stack.

    I still don't know if I'm on the right path, though.

    EDIT: Also, in that test they were using blood frenzy and blood craze. Is that normal? I picked rapid strikes and rending slashes for the increased damage. Should I have chosen the sustained morphs?

    Sorc is the only class I have never played.. I just spend too much time on the forums and read these threads. oh I also haven't played dual wield. I looked it up, I think the reason was that he was soloing a dungeon and needed a way to survive.

    The original poster didn't use NMG because he was solo and Spriggans is better than it when solo, it is more important when you are in a group.

    Everything I've read seems to indicate they're within a few percent of each other. In a group with another stam dps, nmg comes out ahead I'm sure. I like nmg's 2, 3, and 4 piece bonuses personally. You can also wear nmg and sprigg and not over penetrate I think. At least solo
