The current economy is wayyy down because 1.ppl spend money on recipes(especially furniture ones)
2.Master writ has way low drop rate so ppl have to make extra chars and let them learn all the motifs again
So money is short…and no one likes it
I have one character who is a master, 9-trait crafter, with passives in all 6 skills. She is self-sufficient and takes care of the other characters. They give her first pickings of whatever they might find.
I pass green, Furnishing Design patters down a pecking order to my other toons, only because I have too many more valuable items to sell through Guild Traders. I sell all (duplicate) purple, Style Motifs and I would do the same with any rare Furnishing Patterns, if and when I get any.
I do not want to see Motifs going account wide because it would devalue the status of all Truly Master Crafters.
Recipes aren't a problem. It's so ridiculously easy to level Provisioning to 50, it's not even an issue. Sharing recipes between characters is an annoyance to transfer at the bank, but definitely doable.
If I find a motif my high-character doesn't have, guess who gets it? I wouldn't waste a new motif on a low-level character if my main didn't have it. After I find another copy, then I use it.
The results aren't surprising.
trueand this is the ideal result that we can use to convince ZOS
Yes I use them on alts when my main knows them.
NO I don't want them account wide, I would prefer if CP wasn't. Each of my characters are individuals and they each need to learn their own skills and achieve their own achievements.
Your vote doesn't really answer your question
I bet you don't use pet, dyes, costumes, mementos, mounts and houses that that particular character hasn't unlocked/bought.. Riiiight. They probably all assigned a certain amount of your bank space and guild store slots and don't use more than that.

How do you figure it would devalue master crafters? Either you have learned the motif or you haven't. Learning it on more than 1 toon doesn't make 1 more of a master crafter or less of one either.

I my final comment, was simply stating, for the record, that I do not agree with the originator of this poll.
My Main Crafter will probably never be Emperor, she will never be vMA Conqueror and will probably never hold any of the highest Achievements and Titles associated with completing hard-mode vTrials. Quite rightly, under those circumstances, she does not deserve to sport any of those Titles along-side her name.
Gaining the ultimate Achievement in Crafting, should be given the end-of-game honour that it deserves.

I have trouble understand your point?
Say if a friend ask you for a certain style gear crafted, do you:
1.Relog and craft for him/her ->How comes shared motif devalue in anyway? Your char still has those traits researched indivisually, and the only problem is whether to relog or not, and relog is always troublesome
2.Tell your friend that the role you are playing is not a crafter, so this char will not craft this gear for him/her, and tell him/her to ask when the crafter is on, or no crafting because it devalues your Truly Master Crafter character. ->Alright you win

what about houses then?Your DC character should never be given the EP and AD houses, why don't u agree with make house non-account-wide? Also as long as your house is with certain amount of furnitures you get achievement, BUT only your furniture crafter char should deserve the achievement, AHHHHH how do u deal with all that with your noble mind?

I don't see how you think 94% No means ZoS will make motifs account wide. if anything, it shows it's working as intended. As in it shows it's completely unnecessary. Most people craft with one character.
