It's not supposed to be riveting new material, just a fun distraction from your other actives.

This pretty much sums it up. Take a few days, have some fun, get some extra XP, collect a few rewards. Or don't.

Dialogs of the three "kings" are very funny.
This event seems to be less about endless farming than the others, and I apreciate that.
Let's see what comes next tomorrow.

Thanks for the response. Not that I should get into it here as it isn't the topic of the thread. I actually do have a pretty good handle on the armor thing. Almost everything is current level with buffs. If there is a particular place for help with that I would greatly appreciate that.

Are you also always, always, always using decent food?

Anyhow, there are a couple of good general leveling guides over on Tamriel Foundry.

The double XP bonus is the only thing worth it. The rest is boring. The jokes are stale, the dailies lame.

I thought it was fun. It's just something for spring/ April fool's day, I didn't expect it to be big like halloween. But this is still better than some other mmorpgs holiday events.

I tried it on PTS, was annoyed by the quests and unimpressed by the rewards, so I'm not even bothering now. New Life's quests got pretty annoying also but at least the rewards felt worth it for awhile.

It's ok since there is mot much to do for me in game any anything new to do is better than nothing, it is a glorified daily quest for 11 days, I just roll with it with no expectations.

That's why it is free, because it is a crap event lol. If it wasn't crap they'd make you pay.

Pretty much this for me. The dialog is amusing but the quests themselves...they're tedious. (Also, the Butcher spotting me while I'm invisible? Really?)

I think the biggest drawback for me is that I'm not learning anything new about Tamriel. (Yes, it's not that kind of holiday. I don't care; I'm a lore warrior and that's what I feed off of.) I'll probably make use of the XP for my bank alts, but this one is already ranks below the previous Festivals as far as enjoyment in my mind.
