From AlcastHQ.comBlue Betty – Call a Betty Netch that restores 4029 magicka over 25 seconds. Gain Major Sorcerery increasing spell damage by 20% over 30 seconds. This ability also removes 1 negative effect.

Strong sets, if the cooldowns weren't so horrid long. The fact that sets like this exist but their potency is hindered is a prime example why non meta builds suffer. A Templar provides cleanses, and helps provide resources through class abilities. It would be nice if more lackluster sets were buffed so that non ideal classes have access to some of the utilities that the others possess.
Some off the type of my head? The sets I listed above. Sets with heal procs. Utility sets.
Do you have sets in mind that you know deserve a buff? If so, explain which ones and why.

At that, it will affect everyone equally and we will probably be fine.

That is a cleans that also provides the equivelant of more than 300 magika regen for 25 seconds. I do not see that as bad. Great regen all for using a cleans. I doubt it costs near 4000 magika so may be a great skill to keep magika regen up.
Looking at all this I do not think it is time to think the sky is falling and as someone who has been known to heal I think the Warden will do just fine and will not need special gear to cleans.

your maths is terrible
4029 mag / 25 sec = 160 (approx.) not 300 and with the removal of CP cost reduction it may end up not worth bothering with the skill

@stevepdodson_ESO888
Thx, I rounded down a hair.
BTW. Regen ticks every 2 seconds, not one second. So a regen of 1000 return 1k of that stat every 2 seconds effectively making it 500 per second.
In other words, your math is backwards.
Additionally, without knowing the cost of the skill one cannot assume the cost will not be worth it. It is really to early to assume.
Ep1kMalware wrote: »IzakiBrotherSs wrote: »Please take a moment to think about the poor thing that Ashen Grip is.
What's ashen grip?
Ashen grip is a crafted set that primarily has stamina and weapon damage focused buffs, except for the 5-piece bonus that has a random chance to breathe fire. Sounds cool, until you consider flame damage falls under spell damage, and champion point allocations would require the elemental damage star just to make the proc do more damage, while sets farmable like viper fall under weapon damage and will scale off the same champion point star that physical damage, which as a stamina character you'll use a lot of, does.
In short, it's 5-piece bonus does not match up well with the rest of the set bonuses.

good point and well spotted with the 2 second tick...yup i am the ***
i just did some searching around and it appears (on current info) that the skill will cost around 2000 mag so this could turn out to be an extremely good skill after-all. just comparing it to a separate cleanse skill and using Entropy for the Major Sorcery will at the very least take up fewer spots on your bar.

Actually, he is correct. You regenerate magicka every two seconds. While you are correct that you get roughly 160 back every second, he is correct saying that it is equivalent to over 300 magicka recovery. Around 322 to be exact.
