There's a reason RaidNotifier automatically puts pets away.

Do you mean your own pet causes you performance issues, because you can't control pets other people spawn.
Yes, I am only talking about my pet and my personal performance etc. I cannot control other people and their pets. I just don't need any extra lag or issues.
I haven't noticed my pet causing me any kind of lag. Turn it off if you want but I doubt you'll see any measurable performance increase...game goes all over the place with its fps anyway so how would anyone even know they gained that 1fps improvement minus their pet?
Do you do trials and 4 man Vet dungeons with your pet out?
Yep.
You seem to already have your mind made up about this. Additionally, asking if people do trials/dungeons, and then which ones, despite your original question of just yes/no on negative impact of (generic) performance seems to indicate you're not actually trying to get an accurate poll, but rather convince people they do cause issues. In that case, you'd be better off making a opinion thread and stating your case, rather than making a poll then arguing and interrogating anyone that votes no.
Shifted from sorcerer to an templar character, had to switch to an smaller pet, was so used to the clanfear I would look at the pet and got annoyed he would not engage enemy.dreddurius wrote: »I just stow my pet in trials/dungeons out of courtesy for people who might possibly have issues with their specs (or possibly, visual issues).

They were removed to increase performance issues there. They are basically the same as non-combat pets as they are just rendered figures with limited coded actions.
So, if Zos found it necessary to remove deer and fireflies for better performance, I would assume the same applies to pets.
Just my 2 Septims...
Huzzah!!

The common theme of this thread supports my supposition. Yes, Non-Combat Pets negatively impact game performance. There was no evidence presented otherwise, despite the emotional voters trying to swing the vote, while still saying they acknowledge pets hurt performance.
Also it shows how quick people jump to protect what they think might cause a game change. After all, most Nerfs and Buffs come from someone bringing up a problem in these forms or by other forms of reporting. I know I cringe when I see people wanting my class skills nerfed etc. We all know how that works
All of you who just play for fun do not worry. I know your votes were from your heart. ESO will NEVER take your pets from you. They make far too much money selling these little pets. They are making an entire pet dlc for you pet lovers, Morrowind.
Thank you,
