Simple for me, i look at this as a MMO not an Elder Scrolls game. Difficult to play well in first person and would get destroyed in PVP doing it. But if somebody enjoys first person then good for them as long as they are having fun.

When doing heists or sacraments I always use first person, the rest of the time is mostly third person, though zoomed in as far as possible.

When I'm solo and feeling silly, I go first person. Can't do it for too long, though.

A majority of the time, it's third person.

Second person

first person is for those weird people that don't want to play a video game

Third with first only when the BS camera focus stops me looting things.

The focus point should ALWAYS be where my target reticle is, not where the camera is placed (behind the character)

Yeah, I can, but find it really awkward, especially when trying to open chests and craft. When my kid wants me to play I usually pop a compazine beforehand. Luckily he's moved on to other games for the most part.

I'm also unsure if it's also got something to do with us playing on console and having a bigger screen than a PC (which is what I used to play FPS on ). Can't afford gaming PCs for one of us, let alone the three gamers in the family, so we moved to PS4 several years ago.

When I'm farming materials, enjoying the landscape or decorating my house I use first person. When I'm fighting, third person is the best option for me.

Used to be first person. Until I kept tripping up on every little rock while trying to kite so I went to third, never looked back.

98% of the time I'm in 3rd person.

I'll occasionally go into 1st person if I'm trying to do something where my character is in the way, like loot containers inside one of those small tents or place small decorations in a house, but other than that I stick to 3rd person.

Which is odd because in other TES games I usually go into 1st person in any enclosed space (especially caves) or for combat because I find it easier.

I cannot play a roleplaying game in first person. It makes me feel like my character doesn't exist.

Third person + 3 'clicks' out additional distance. As a healer, I like the increased situational awareness to better see friendlies and foes alike.
