I love playing with housing. I really do. I love figuring out what to put where, what look to go for etc. I've even come to terms with truly monumental amount of farming I have to do in order to be able to decorate every house I'd like to decorate. but there is one thing. this one little, and yet crucial thing... that bothers me. so. much. why is it that when I pick up an item to adjust its location, my camera suddenly changes to something uncomfortable? and when I'm holding that piece, I cannot adjust my camera. but if I put it does and adjust it as i want to be standing/looking - the moment I grab that piece? bam, back to uncomfortable incomprehensible angle. why is it that when I pick up an item - instead of having me hold it in place where it originally was and letting me adjust its location from there - I'm off. sometimes by inches, sometimes more, so before I can fiddle with its positioning in a spot i want it to be - I have to move it BACK into that spot.
and herein lays a suggestion. dear zios. could you please change the decorating interface so that our positioning doesn't change between holding and not holding an item? so that if I put myself into the right place - I STAY in that place when I start actualy editing and placing decorations? so that if I am looking up, which is especially important when placing hanging lanterns or chandeliers - I continue to look up once that lantern is in my hands? just please let me character stay where i placed them facing WHERE I placed them, once I pick up the furnishing that I'm trying to arrange? and keep that furnishing that i'm editing exactly where I originaly placed it, until I start moving it around? thank you
dirty worthless casual.
