Looked through the tooltips of the Warden skills and passives – first impression is that the class has a lot of heals and the best buffs available, meaning it will be another strong class in heavy armour (PvP).
However, one skill in particular that concerns me is "Screaming Cliff Racer". Note that I haven't played the class, and these are mere thoughts before the class is released.
The tooltip shows 7061 Magic Damage, increased by 15% if target is at least 15 metres away, for a potential 8120 damage. On a test build, you probably don't have great gear, so it does more damage with a proper build. Instant skill, ranged class spammable and I'm assuming that it is not morphed yet. Doesn't it seem very strong, especially compared to Force Pulse?

You can really assume anything is strong without testing.
You don't know the gear, your don't know the animation, it may be easy to dodge, may be reflectable etc...
For all we know it could have the same tooltip scaling as swallow soul.

I can indeed.

@leepalmer95 has a good point.
Until we actually get to test the skill in PTS, this whole thread is speculation.
The tooltips at PAX may or may not be the tooltips in PTS ... or the tooltips on June 6.

@Taleof2Cities
There will be no PTS for the expansion.

also...in terms of scaling it appears that some skills are based off health...check out the skill called Impaling Shards which does frost damage (normally considered magicka/elemental) but tooltip says "Damage is done based on your Max Health"
i know ZOS said they were trying to make health a more "useful" resource, but this just smacks of hybrid-build
Looking at all the other images, 7016 sounds about right.
But as I've said before, here and in zone chat, you can't judge the abilities yet. Not only can we not test them, it's still 3 months till release, things will change.

That was what caught my eye - ties in nicely with recent frost staff changes.

Pretty sure on one of the latest ESO lives they said they got people in to test the warden to get some instant feedback, but will be releasing it on the PTS later on also.

The ultimate thats most people haven't had a chance to test yet?
The screenshot leak shows 3.7k~ magic dmg... which is gonna be like 1k~ in pvp to players. The special costing 75 ult for 20k dmg seems to be in range leap or templar spear ult. But the bear has to be alive.
If the bear acts like current pets it'll be ravaged by skills that attack a lot like flurry or jabs/sweeps.
Kind of hard to say something is strong from a picture.

Nowhere in that description does it say AOE.hmsdragonfly wrote: »leepalmer95 wrote: »hmsdragonfly wrote: »If you think it's OP, check out the bear ultimate lol.

Ummm, nope.
75 Ult for 20k magic damage AOE execute.
Well, it is less than 10k aoe in pvp that will be possible to activate only when bear will be alive, i.e. probably mostly never.hmsdragonfly wrote: »leepalmer95 wrote: »hmsdragonfly wrote: »If you think it's OP, check out the bear ultimate lol.

I completely understand that the stats are not balanced yet, but it does look ridiculous.

edit: I sure hope one of the morphs makes the bear deal physical damage.
