The price is insane but I wasn't planning on buying it anyway. I don't particularly like it, I don't know how I'd go about decorating it and I don't think any of my characters would want to live in a cave.

I'm buying furnished 16000 crowns

there was no "leaning towards but undecided right now" so i voted YES for furnished because...

1 - preview has shifted my views from nah to maybe.
2 - Furnished is no-brainer over unfurnished for that much investment. Would still have over 450 furnishings to do on my own before reaching cap.

but really i will wait a bit before making final decision.

Decision will likely be made at next crown sale or morrowind whichever comes first.

Not buying at all

i try to think how I can benefit with a house, and there really isnt a reason to own one. It takes the same amount of time to port to a city or wayshrine near crafting station to use crafting stations, i can call my assistants anyplace, i dont gain any storage, limited who can view my instanced home....outside of decorating for ones own satisfaction...you gain nothing by owning one.

Contains no associated achievements so I don't see the point. I have enough to spend my gold and crowns on already if I want all the housing achievements, which I do! :P

Just wondering, is there a way to buy more than 5500 crowns with a single transaction? Because if not it's rather idiotic to expect someone to make three identical purchases online in a matter of minutes, that the kind of thing that gets flagged as suspicious activity.

There needs to be a poll option of 'if it was discounted 50% I would buy it'

The value for the coin on this one is simply not there.

I am really disappointed... I was really looking forward to this one. Even the furnished version seems somehow cold and empty. I think the other three 'notable' level homes (also available for nearly 4mil in game gold) are much better options, even buying with crowns. This one simply doesn't feel like 'home' and feels more like 'crown store exclusive rip-off'.

Seriously, $130 for an unfurnished digital cave, $160-some for a sparsely furnished digital cave... and how much is the Morrowind expansion? $60.

I should thank them for helping me save money on this flop.

Thats insane amount of money. Bought hundings and that was too much. Will not buy another house uness they come out with a really large one or manor in eastmarch. Just too much of a real cash grab and ingame money sink. I've never been so broke over owning and decorating a house like this in any other mmo. Prices are just ridiculous high for anything.

Not really about the price, not much different than the manors. I am just not a huge fan of it. Will definitely wait for morrowind if/when I buy a second house, but not even sure i really see the point in having two anyway.

LMFAO it's cheaper to buy the morrowind expan than to buy a non functional manor or a island house/ cave ..
Greed is getting the better of this company and ppl are just giving in to it!!
So funny can't wait till they run out of ppl to scam!!
You can fit all your guildies in the morrowind area how many in your $120 non functional cave maybe 24- max like manors !!

I'll probably buy it. I've got 23k crowns just sitting around (I've had ESO+ since launch). Can you buy the target dummy and crafting station with crowns? Also how do you get the Argonian target dummy? I'd rather beat up on an Argonian than a Humanoid one. Argonians are easily one of the most annoying races in the game lol

Yeah they're very poorly conceived in terms of appeal.

The only advantage to owning one presently is for very new characters. There are a couple of houses near horse trainers. So theoretically a house could save a bit of time with horse feeding and trait learning. Though it takes ages to make enough writs to buy crafting stations to squeeze that advantage out of a house.

So that's a slow to achieve advantage which doesn't apply to most long-time players.
