I know I have the ability to allow Guild mates access to a house. And, we can travel to a player's main house from the roster. But, I extended the visitation privileges to all the houses I bought so I am wondering if any of my guild mates can walk up to and enter any of my houses or just my main house. Has anyone tested this? I tried to test in my guild last night but got called away for real world stuff so never found out. Plus everyone was focused on their own housing activity.
Also, I have not poked around a lot in the F5 Menus, but how do you set a house to be your main house?

We should be able to allow Guildmates, or whoever, access to our houses at any time, not just when we are there.
Well, I will make sure my nicest house is set to be my Primary.
For some Players the whole entire purpose of buying homes was so they could share them with guild mate for role playing purposes. And to only be able to designate one house as the one they can travel to at one time seems very limiting considering the cost we have put into these homes. To be in a role playing guild and not have the guild mates be able to enter the homes other than just 1 seems a waste of the gold and crowns spent. Very frustrated right now.
The way I read it in the Patch Notes:Bottom Line, they are our houses, we should be able to allow anyone access to any house we have by granting them the permission to do so. Whether that be an individual or a guild is up to us. Whether we are online or not, whether we are in the house or not.

If you give someone permission to visit your House(s); when you are online and in-game, they can visit any of your Houses that they have been given permission to visit. When you are offline or otherwise not "in-game", then players you have given visitor permission to, can only visit your Primary residence.
I may very well be wrong, but when I read the patch notes on the subject, that's what my brain made of it.
That may be so, but that means I need to be on line 24/7 for my guild hall to function unless I designate it as my primary residence which does not make sense in the scheme of things, as who lives in a Guild Hall?

As far as I understand what I read, and without any further clarification from ZOS; yes, I believe that this is how it currently works.Uriel_Nocturne wrote: »The way I read it in the Patch Notes:Bottom Line, they are our houses, we should be able to allow anyone access to any house we have by granting them the permission to do so. What if I set myself to be Offline when I am online and playing?
Permissions need to be divorced from activity status in the game.
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Can we get the Devs to look at this please.
but then set permissions for a side house and use that as a guild officer's club and arrange things, etc.
