It's all good, we can clear trials with a nice clean clear UI.

All platforms have their place when it comes to gaming. But I started on PC with ESO and I will keep going on PC with ESO.

Honestly, i think Console is winning on population and drives the profit ZOS is getting. Much cheaper playing the game on console. Like some other person said, it's expensive maintaining a PC, upgrading hardware. Even buying a good gaming PC is quite expensive. And the game just looks 10x cleaner on console without the many addons and the poorly designed UI they have on PC.

You definitely can't argue that logic. I played on Xbone for a while and did appreciate the level playing field with regard to the UI. However, the ZOS UI, while it looks clean/pretty, is pretty much featureless and omits far too many important bits, which I consider almost equally intellectually insulting.

But I prefer PC anyway for the 80+ FPS and much greater stability.

lol, I love love LOVE addons. but I'm all about convenience. can I do my writs by hand? sure, did them for months that way, but why, when I can do them so much faster with Lazy writ crafter? searching through guildstores is so much nicer with awesome guild store. can I explore my way to skyshards? yeah, probably. but eventually i would have just looked up the maps anyways. and so on and so forth. not to mention my new favorite addon ever. furniture preview. no more guessing what something looks like from name alone when browsing recipes, hoping that ESO fashion or ESO styles updated their galleries. I'd rather maximize my time doing what I actualy enjoy. questing, stealing, things like that

that said. ps plus is just... honestly not worth it for me. I'm not the biggest fan of multiplayer on consoles to begin with, in part because I started gaming on pc, so keyboard and mouse feel much more natural to me than controllers do. coupled with my general mediocrity to badness? yeah. and 90% of the time ps plus games are not even something I'm in any way, shape or form interested in. last game they had that I genuinely wanted to play? was Gat out of hell. you know the game that habitualy goes on sale for like $6. ok, they also had journey but I bought it a year ago, so there went that.

edited to add. I don't know, maybe some people have cluttered UI for some reason? I never liked that in any of the games (how the heck do you see the bad, when so much of your screen is covered?) and addons actualy allow me to clean it up and consolidate and declutter even more, so... /shrug.

Console doesn't have a lot of forum goers. Also, ZOS doesn't even know ESO is on console.

Sure it runs better on computers, not disputing that. But to keep it running well, you constantly need to keep up to date on virus scans, registry cleaners, etc (all can be done automatically, I know), and also upgrading ram, video cards, and other maitenance

Virus scans should be automatic. Registry cleaners are a scam.
Upgrading RAM, Video Cards, etc. really only has to be done every few years...same as when you have to buy a new console.

PC, mostly because when I got the game that was the only option - console release was still rumoured to be coming "soon". But also because in my house the PC is more likely to be free than the TV, and I don't like using voice chat.

Cost of hardware is pretty much negligible because we'd have a gaming PC and a PS4 either way (and 8 other consoles), we've talked about getting an Xbox One as well but I don't know that's going to happen.

PC until I get the game on my Xbone.

The last few patches have made it so I have to play on lower than low graphics, so I'm pretty much playing on borrowed time.

Not sure how starting my entire game from scratch is going to help, precisely, but hey, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
