Those are normal ESO... Make the helm drops from DLC the BiS.

Spriggan BiS???

Normally, when you have DLC or expansion, its because there is something in it you really really want.

    In this case, BiS gear.
In other cases, better looking gear
In other cases, special rewards for beating content, (think EQ and Oow trials), complete mainquest of DLC receive perma bonus in spell resistance
In other cases, the dungeon system in DLC is crazy fun andhas nice reward system (think EQ, LDoN)
"what made me get LDoN expansion in EQ back in the days, was from people sending me tells every dang day 'you have LDoN??'"

Did you forget the fact that you can buy the DLC for slightly more than 3 months subscription time costs? (7,000 crowns if you buy the 4-pack and then Shadows of the Hist.)

I suspect most people who don't subscribe already have the DLC, so this would achieve nothing except to get the min-maxers farming different sets.

Current DLC, I figure I beat all of it within a month, which is less than buying it, and after you beat the DLC... Its garbage.

Orisinium??? I have no need to go and do that DLC. That DLC does NOTHING for me.

they HAD a perfectly good reason for people to sub until ZOS themselves took it away with Morrowind. I don't even know anyone that subs anymore. Crafting bags alone are not worth it. When Morrowind arrives it will be close to a year with the only DLC content that you needed to purchase being SoH (just 2 dungeons).

I am pretty sure those who are not ESO+ buy their DLC, so they already have access to this.

Unless you want to make DLC an ESO+ only options, in which case I welcome our new SWTOR design team overlords.

You can add SPC and vMA weapons to that list, plus plenty of other more than useful sets. As far as making all BiS sets come from DLCs, that might be enough for me to drop my sub and find a new game to play.

Best way to get people to sub without it being PTW is tie housing storage to ESO+ similar to the craft bag. Subscribe and get a "house bank" and that would get people to sub but still probably *** off a lot.

    awww ya good point.

    How bout this,
With ESO+, when you get dungeon drops, trial drops...

You get 2 options to choose from.
    Aka prosperus or training gear.
    Infused Prosperus?
    Mundus or Impen?

    How about NO

What is it with ppl who think everyone should subscribe?

All ESO Plus is suppose to be ....honestly...is a different option for ppl who prefer to sub vs buying outright.

Both models by design are far off and there shouldn't be a crown store or crowns.

No incentives other than access to everything in a sub that's no more than the cost of dlc

The best way to get ppl to sub or buy is to remove any and all complexities, incentives and make it straight forward.

They can offer things for sale but crown store....and that crown and crown gen currency. NO

    How about this.

Sub, and you get all access, that cannot be bought with crowns, to some special zone, some special house.

Think of guild lobby in EQ.

Just a nice zone, that has a lot of convenience in it, like a crafting station that has all sets unlocked (ones you've found that is). Nice layout.

    AvA merchant
all the important merchants standing side by side.

Most importantly... You know everyone in that zone has all the DLC, because they are subbed.

Maybe have a ESO+ by their name too, to show they are subbed. Some nice title ornament. Small things count!

Let's not make this game sub or GTFO like SWTOR thanks.

The model is fine as it is, just some more minor tweaks but whatever happens no exclusive content, extra drop or any of that F2P force to sub rubbish SWTOR and other games spew out.
It's bad enough we already have "more housing items placed" for ESO+

ESO+ should NEVER be a gateway to having more content then a standard game purchaser, that's how you kill an MMO fast.

Honestly, the better way is probably to make ESO+ a completely code-based purchase just like crowns so you can add months whenever you want as opposed to the very end of a billing cycle. When somebody wants to add any number of months halfway through a monthly billing cycle, and they can't, they have two whole weeks to lose that impulse and change their mind.

It may be time to retire all their current crown packs, make the first tiers ESO+ plus crowns codes, then add four or five large crown purchases of 10,000+. There will come a point where people have a lot of ESO+ time so they'll start buying those large crown packs because they'll be around long enough to use them all.

Please understand that any "incentive" used to increase a person's subceptability to spend money that creates a special snowflake thing in the game (even crafting bags) other than what's required to play is a NO.

That's the problem with most games.

Also for those who are of the mindset that a developer needs financial support.

That's saying their product and it's target markets don't align with the business plan. It's not a customers responsibility to financially support the developers game....it's the developers responsibility to offer products of value worth paying for to its target market.

In my opinion, the game would be better off with no sub at all.

Ppl would be more willing to play and buy dlc of interest. You'd use the crown store items as quest and progression rewards but for free to keep its customers around in order to better prepare, develop and provide dlc on a consistent basis that aligns with a solid business model.

ZOS is all over the place so while I'd argue they don't need our money, they've been at best, very inconsistent in all their realty money opportunities on all platforms.

Easier way is to double the number of characters available for eso+.
Obviously without spending a single crown, but under subscription.
ESO is in minority of mmos with offering the same number of alts for subs and non-subs.

Easiest way to persuade people to sub is offer crafting bag and free crowns to subscribers. This already works.

Nerfing BoE items or buffing BoP items wouldn't persuade anyone to subscribe. It would just make the game feel like more of a grinding activity and less fun.
