Personally I always cringe at seeing a "funny" name in-game, unless it actually makes sense within the immersion.
Imperial names can get funny, in a "Life of Brian" way... (I think we all know which scene I am referring to). Argonian names can as well. The rest... more iffy.

Wyietsayon✭✭✭Got an argonian named Drains-His-Mugs. He's a tanky guy. Still debating getting that drunken personality for him, but that suggest he's a lightweight. Being a heavyset argonian (poison resist) born in Nord culture, to suggest he's not able to hold his liquor would get you, at best, a drinking contest, at worst, a black eye and a possible bar fight.
