Do u have all attribute points on stamina and all glyphs as stamina expect weapon damage for jewelry?
I was just looking your health. I have all attributes on stamina and I only have 16,6k with 2 stat food. I'm playing as Bosmer stamblade and I'm using 5x VO and 5x NM and 2x Kragh.

Still think Viper is worth it in VMA? Curious as obviously you're the record holder.
You must be hacking! Your stamina nightblade does more damage than my stamina nightblade.... ;P

I an not the record holder anymore. I was in One Tamriel, but not anymore. I recently quit the game as well so no more Maelstrom. And even if I did try and push again, the disparity between consoles and PC is so huge that it is nearly impossible. On consoles you have insanely long loading screens in between stages (10 seconds to be exact, go check runs done by PC players and you will clearly see that they go from stage to stage in no time, so overall that is more than a minute loss, which equals to 3.000-3.500 score), no buff timers (not so important but would definetely save me a few seconds), and the ability to change sets and abilities (impossible to do without losing time) inbetween rounds (!). So add all those up, how much time do I lose? Let's say around two minutes? But whatever, enough with the rant.
To answer your question though, I tried Viper and it's poo now. Hunding's, NMG, and TFS are your best bets. On PC, you can play around with all three in a run to get a min/maxed score. There are three types of physical resistances in Maelstrom: 1) 9.1k, 2) 12.1k, 3) 18.2k.
Hunding's is slightly better overall than NMG in Maelstrom when single targeting mobs with 9.1k and 12.1k (you do not benefit 100% from the 5piece of NMG) as a Nightblade already reaches 10.540 single target physical penetration (5.280 from surprise attack's major fracture, 5160 from your sharpened weapons, plus 100 base), but when you are AOEing (steel tornadoing), NMG wins, as you do not apply major fracture when you are spinning, so those two are more or less equal. So use one of the two. Certain bosses though, like stage 4, 7, 8 have 18.2k physical resistance, so TFS, in these cases, superior period. So you understand how one should operate if he or she is going for a min/maxed score.
