You know what i don´t understand? Why do noCP people want everyone to play noCP?
You´ve had azura and you will have azura in the future (you´ll even get noncp battlegrounds). Why do certain people feel the need to push their own idea of what good pvp feels like on everyone?

That's basically everyone with an opinion about how the game should evolve.
Personally, I have always most enjoyed the main NA campaigns. I enjoy map play against experience opponents. I have played in groups of all sizes, but mostly solo/duo/8-12 players.
I have never liked NA AS because it was so often like shooting fish in a barrel and full of low population interval BS that invalidated prime time map movement and scoring. This has been the case, at least, when I've played there. I thought that I also did not like CP disabled, but I now know I prefer it on TF.
Because I *feel* server performance is improved without CP, it is my opinion that No CP PVP should be the default. To me, server performance trumps everything else.
I will also add that I think server lag is ultimately a game design issue. All servers of every type have limitations. Good developers do not allow users to exceed those limitations. I think a reason why ESO server performance doesn't seem to improve is because the gameplay design encourages zerging and stacking, so whatever gains are made are quickly negated by player behavior. ZOS needs to be more clever about its gameplay design.
Perhaps @ZOS_BrianWheeler can eventually settle this by sharing data with us.

Ofc most of them know why: It´s not as popular of an idea as the forum loudmouths would like it to be. It´s not populated on consoles and NA PC.
Maybe that´s because people simply don´t want to play without CP?
I could be wrong. Peoples campaign choice after the event will tell us.

Why? Because people will never go play nonCP willingly. We could have maxed out CP, everyone will be tanky as much as possible, sustaining as much as possible and dealing as much DMG as possible and CP campaign will still be more popular. People like you will never choose willingly campaign that isnt easy mode and where some noob that plays few years less than you has the same advantage.

I´m for giving everyone in CP campaigns maxCP so there is no advantage for longtime players. Try again.
Also what kind of a stupid argument is that? I should be forced to play in a way i don´t like because you like it better?
So you´re suggesting a system with 1CP campaign and all others have CP disabled?
What happens when all campaigns are empty and the CP one has 200+ queues?
Were any of you playing PC NA TF half an hour ago around 5:30pm EST? The server almost went down it felt like.

PeaNutShotz wrote: »Well all the people claiming no lag you are full of sht! The last emp keep before Mano got dethroned the lag there was averaging between 500-850 the whole time and that was a tri faction fight. So yes we still have lag with no CP.
I think what everyone should be worried about is the non stop crashes being back. 5 times in the matter of minutes and then not being able to get back in.
For me personally nocp is as enjoyable as cp. Its just a matter of changing your build.
At this moment on pc eu trueflame is way more laggy then azura star. While on azura ive seen way bigger battles with better results. So this leaves me to a question as why? This why is what can define the state of what is causing a majority of the lagg.

I don't think that will be the case. My main Guild, who used to do reg PVP events quit PVP completely a few months after 1.6 because they hated how everyone became a god due to CP.
This no-cp event has revived their interest in PVP, and we have now confirmed this guild will now be homing Azura Star after this event is over bringing help and positive thinking to the Daggerfall Covenent and to compliment the already good guilds there like LODG who is an excellent presence there.
I think there will be far more on Trueflame that leave after this event then many think. I have talked to over 100 people on voice comms this week alone at various times that all say the same thing:
"Finally PVP is fun again, this is how it used to be when i used to have so much fun playing"
Azura Star is going to leech a significant portion of players from all 3 factions on TF because people are sick and tired of the ridiculous setups CP allows you to have.....
Any good CP allows you to you have is out weighed by the flatout broken set ups it allows. The power creep associated with it is bad for the game, and leads to a toxic environment,m and pigeon holes people into min-max setups with no trade offs, its really the illusion of peoples choice, and is in pointed fact anti-TES all the way and has for all intents and purposes killed hybrid setups for endgame PVE or PVP.
Thats funny because most people i talk to ingame prefers CP enabled.
It´s even more funny when you think about it in a way that i mostly talk to solo and duo/trio players (the people running with groups > 6 players mostly have no issues and the zerglings love it).
They all dislike noCP tremendously because it empowers:
- people who think clicking the left mouse button every 6s on siege is pvp
- people who zerg
So the people who in theory should have the most problems with ridiculous tank builds (because alone you can´t kill them) are those who dislike noCP the most.
I think the real illusion is CP requiring tradeoffs. It´s not happening. You simply go allout sustain or allout dmg (when your grp does not need sustain).
I have to make way more tradeoffs and think about on a CP template than i have to with CPs disabled. In fact my nonCP template took me 10 minutes to figure out and i won´t be able to adjust it for the better.
My CP template took me 4 weeks of testing ~15 different set combinations with literally hundreds of CP allocation changes.

I agree with Derra however ultimately, i want ESO PVP to succeed. whatever draws the most crowds and keeps the most people happy and engaged. damned are the minority.
but if it were completely up to me, CP would stay. period. CP all day.
Lag at the dethrone may have been bad, but it was good enough that I could time a bomb going up breachside stairs and damage promptly registered. It also wasn't laggy enough to simply stack flags. Progress?
