@Vercingetorix ...I thought your poll was awesome and well written - one of my favorite polls...well done...

without doubt - i believe if we lost cp in pvp going forward, I would have no problem with it...

even without the double AP - i believe the new AP reward system encourages folks to get away from camping the keeps and outposts (praying to the d-tick gods, guilty myself) and go find the fights...

I appreciate the kind words. Despite being a relatively small sample size, the trend so far has indicated that most players seem to be driven by AP gains more than anything else. No CP is probably next in line as big bonus for players, but I think the idea that players can spend a night in Cyrodiil and feel like they got something out of it is the real prize. Hopefully, ZoS will see this trend and try to keep AP rewards near or at where they are now. I know that many players like myself have been essentially locked out of the Akaviri motif and the color dyes because we have IRL stuff that keeps us from "no-life-ing" Cyrodiil for AP ranks. This week has been a boon for us.

No secret I am mostly PVE, but I have had a blast this week. Clearly, they were right that something in the CP was causing lag. Is there still a performance loss in huge combat? Yes, but nothing like it was. I have never seen battles as big as some of these, and for the most part, my game is running pretty smooth.

As for No CP? I actually kind of like it. It forces the action, and everything seems faster.

As for the Double AP, honestly, I think this is not a bad rate. I actually feel like I can see some progress during each game session. Grand Overlord is still likely out of my reach either way.

Is Trueflame packed because of the bonus AP??

Because Azura Star is same dealeo, no CP 30 day campaign, why is everyone playing Trueflame and not Azura Star, especially when you know Azura Star is NO CP 4 life, and Trueflame its just 1 week???

Only time I have fun is on magicbuilds, stambuilds are only good in groups of 5+ less then that they're unplayable.

It doesn't take a month bro, I did it solo in 1 day when pushing Emp, maybe a week if I wasn't.

I've been having loads of fun this week.

I'm not fussed about the CP either way (I was homed in Azura's for a while so it's not much of a change) though I suspect the lack of CP is why I've been able to get more kills than usual.

The AP is really nice of course, but I think the best part has been the people--there are people everywhere. There's always something going on and always something to attack or defend. And this is the case on all sides, so there's always the chance that if I'm caught alone someone will come and help, or if I want to group someone will have one running, or I'll run into an enemy when I don't expect it.

i do well enough, but the problems in cyrodil remain the same with the added bonus of many more disconnects and endless (task manager, kill process, reload eso) loading screens.

Face-rolling people as a stam DK (no proc/no meta follower). Finally able to crack sorc shields without burning everything I own but obviously sustain issues are even more prominent (which could be resolved with a simple reduction in all magicka DK skills *cough* *cough*.

Lag is still terrible if not worse, I've disconnected so many times that it's infuriated me but the double AP is whats keeping me going since I feel I can grab my General rank if not warlord and kinda ease back n forth into it until the silver bullet has been delivered.

No CP is meh or sucks. AP is finally worth the grind - yay color dyes, skill points, and samurai armor!
I don't even think its a matter of adapting. I bought three Kutas, enchanting two reduced cost & one recovery -- and my pvp experience is 90% similar to what I was already doing w/ cp, I even feel like I hit almost as hard. I do not understand how anyone can say this requires more/less skill -- it's nearly the same game. 1vXing is a bit harder, and zerging is stronger -- it honestly feels like we got another update -- because w/ every update those are the two things that happen anyway.

The only thing I bother to do in ESO is PVP, and I will say that even though I'm not a fan of no cp -- I've pvp'd so much more this week, it's actually such a great way of making gold right now -- and I'm the ESO version of a peasant.

Also, I've never been a fan of build diversity, I've always been in camp 'Play whatever is BiS, and try to outplay the other BiS players' but I do realise that it's probably a bit annoying to people who are trying to run fun/troll builds. I feel bad for them this week.

Cyrodiil is Awesome: It's raining AP and no CP! PvP is fun now!
My home campaign has been Azura's Star for over a year now, so no changes to balance.

But, I'm finding myself in battles with maybe 60 to 100 people around at any given time, and I'm not experiencing the slowdowns I had last week with fewer players around.

I'm much happier with the AP gains. It feels like I'm actually making progress again, without having to devote an entire weekend to battle just to see my rank creep forward a fourth of a bar. I can buy more equipment boxes. I bought some decorations, too. I might be able to get a nice gold necklace or a monster helm in the coming weeks. Saving up points for the Akaviri motifs seems like a reasonable goal now (or at least it did until I remembered the upcoming AP nerfs). The time spent capturing or defending something feels way more meaningful. AP this week is where it should have been the whole time; it's way more satisfying, but it still takes effort to rank up or afford something nice, while larger goals feel doable.

As people are saying, the best part about this event is the fact that it's encouraging more players to come in. There's always action somewhere on the map. Many more people are cooperating and making serious pushes for fort capture. And the huge battles are the best I've ever fought in. Seriously, I'd say the AP levels are encouraging the best gameplay I've seen since I first set my squishy sorc feet beyond the Elsweyr gates back in 2015.

I'd be perfectly happy if this event never ended. (Of course, Trueflame would like their CP back.)

Lag issues are mostly in order, even in peak hours. Probably just my build, but without CP, i hardly can solo anything, so i do miss CP.

Anyways, running with zerg and gaining sweet sweet AP is my this weeks main agenda anyway. Love the PvP right now.
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

    Go dominion or go home

It's not the lack of CP that sucks, I suck without CP. I lose my magica in about 10 seconds.

But because I'm a casual player and play for fun, I don't really care. Just couldn't find the better option to vote.. I love getting so much AP :)

As with all the recent events I think they revitalize that part of the game. Worked with Imp City, worked with Orsinium, the recent festivals.

Right now our small guild has returned to PvP for the first proper time in a while and we are loving it - loads of action, not much 'horse simulator' and mega AP - its been brilliant.
