I'd thought I'd get a feel for what the community thinks about the AP increase and lack of CP this week. I personally feel like the AP increase makes pvp a more meaningful progression. AP ranks are generally useless, but some extra skill points and color dyes are nice to have! Which phrase best summarizes your feelings about Cyrodiil this week?

No CP is meh, I suppose. I just threw on seducers instead of a damage set and seem to be performing about the same but I still prefer CP. Maybe it is just because I haven't gotten fully used to no CP though. The AP increase is awesome! Probably a little much when combined with the offensive ticks. But I've killed a person on a resource, gotten 4.8k AP for the kill, then gotten 4.8k AP for the resource D tick. Almost 10k AP for killing one person!

On the downside, I have DCed a ton this week so far and had really long load screens and crazy glitches like this: http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Bubbygink/video/27699968 It may be because I have been running to keeps for the massive ticks much more than usual since usually I just try to stay out of the way of big groups. But it seems like even when I am away from the action I am having long load screens and weird glitches like the one above.

Also, there has been some serious AP boosting in Azura's Star (and I am sure on other campaigns but I personally witnessed it here) on XBox NA. A lot of really high-ranking players on red and blue just passing Dragonclaw back and forth to each other. It was disappointing to come across that to say the least. I hope ZoS takes away their AP or something.

On XB1, Azura's Star is abandoned this week ()everyone is in Haderus or Scourge) so of course there's an opportunity to gain and hoard a crap ton of AP for future use. The funny thing is that those players don't even need the AP in the first place. Most are Rank 50 and have millions of AP already from emp farming. Their farming on an isolated campaign doesn't hurt me, so I don't care. So long as I can get AP for what I need (motif mostly), then they can keep doing what they are doing. I play on AD so I couldn't join them even if I wanted to.

Just getting into PvP, but noticed if you're deaf (making voice programs useless) no one will invite you to a group. Which means learning to PvP in this game the hard way.

Not sure what platform you are on, but my friend and I duo up in Cyrodiil. This week we've been utilizing the text chat feature to figure out where the faction was migrating to after each keep capture. We'd use phrases like "911 Nikel" and "take Arrius next" to help direct everyone. I recommend using text chat to help offset the lack of hearing people in a group. Also, joining a group shouldn't require hearing (unless they are jerks). Just being in group with a crown to follow along with text chat gives you enough comms & direction to have some fun in Cyrodiil.

It's fun mainly because there are more players at all hours.

Never played on Azura's before because I thought I'd need to figure out a completely different build, but it's fun and the pace of battles is faster because everybody dies quickly.

I think after this week I will play on AS campaign from time to time.

PC-NA - There are many 'put X, Y or C' in zone chat to get invited but "Must have TS" is always a requirement. I get communication for PvP but being ostracized for natural inability to hear well..

I'm quick typing so I can do group chat easy.

Yea I was just in there for a few minutes while waiting for my Haddy queue to pop (been at like 200 for DC) and it was pretty much empty except for the boosters. And you're right about the ranks of the boosters, lots of 3 stars, 4 stars, etc. Not sure why they even feel the need to boost but whatever I guess it doesn't harm me. Just seems wrong though so, like I said, I hope ZoS takes away their AP gain from this week, I think that is what they did with that whole Blackboot? Mine glitch.

Its certainly is fun with no cp, a templar tried perma blocking/BOL spam like they used too with cp but ended up running out of resources and dying lol.

AP increases are meh. No CP is a big plus for me - It's all about class skill!

Been fun less cheaters, good players at still good no infinite recourse builds, feel more like mmo combat and little less like a first person shooter, with a few tweaks Cyrodiil could be great again.

Not sure what it was compared to now, honestly. Last night was the first time I ever jumped in pvp...and yes, I got wrecked. I knew that was going to happen, I just wanted to give it a go. I do plan on more pvp, once I actually figure it out. Still have alot of pve though to do first, and lvl more toons up.

No CP sucks, but I can still PvP. I'll adapt.

As someone that doesn't care about ranks the AP change is nice.

Although without CP the outnumbered fights are nearly impossible to win. You run out of resources downing maybe the first one or two people, then you're just a sitting duck for the third and fourth.

No CP is nice for those that run in decent size groups. Those that run in duos or three/four man groups, you better have a large stack of tripots and a Templar with repent/shards/orbs if you plan on downing a group twice your numbers.

My friend and I try to stick to the main movements of our faction. However, towards the end of the night a couple more friends of ours get on (both are templars) and we go around the map taking the resources around each keep that usually get left behind by the zergs. 3-4K AP each resource and low lag makes Cyrodiil much more fun. We've even driven enemy players mad trying to chase our capped farms and mines in a circle around the keep, doing laps flipping control, lol. Our record so far is 13 laps around Fort Warden, driving Blue bonkers... 39 caps (128K AP) in one hour LMFAO.

Not trying to be a jerk but this poll has little to no value. Polls over three questions quickly loose traction and statistical significance.

The better way to have posed this would have been three questions and then an "other" option (asking for more detail in a thread response).

The poll would still lose statistical value as the term "other" has even less value than a couple more specific choices in a poll. Besides, based on choices given, everyone can fall into one of the categories - maybe even more than one. The poll asks the person to pick the statement that BEST summarizes their experience in Cyrodiil this week.

I'm PvE for life, but ZOS in their infinite wisdom made certain PvP skills virtually mandatory for endgame PvE (vMA), so I am finally grinding to get Caltrops on all 5 of my Stam toons.

Good points.

However, most of the time the other "option" still has great value because it allows the surveyor the possibility of gathering trend data for something over looked. I will admit though, a lot more leg work is required reading the "other" responses and categorizing them.

There could be a common sentiment here for example that's running through the community as a whole. If something like this is occurring it's always interesting to see it surfaced and given voice.

I feel your pain. My friend and I are also PvE'ers that are using this opportunity to farm as much AP as possible to hopefully get the Akaviri motif pages we are missing. We're also unlocking as many AP ranks as possible for some extra skill points - perhaps even a few color dyes along the way, too.

i have 706 CP
with this zero CP thing i do less damage and dont have as much stamina and magicka regen but niether does my enemies
it just feels like we are on equal footing for a change especialy in damage output, and that is what was the majority of the problem.

NO CP campaigns accross the board.
i feel that keeping it this way it will eliminate the exploiters.
it will balance pvp.
it will remove the chance for people to be cheating the system.

I'd like No CP better if our magicka/stamina sustain was a little better. And nightblades are still stupid strong. If a NB fears you and you're out of stamina. you're guaranteed to die in Cyrodil. It's not even a challenge for them.

I picked the answer that was closest to how I feel about it. So far I haven't spent nearly as much time in Cyrodiil as I had hoped I would because of real life, but the relatively brief amount of time I have spent there this week has been fun, even though I've really just been riding around to battles and joining in rather than doing anything organized.

To be honest, I prefer having CP, but I also don't mind not having CP. The double AP has been great, as with only about 1.5 hours in Cyrodiil this week I had a character go from Assault/Support 4 to 6, and gain 2 skill points. I wouldn't want to see AP gains this high become permanent, as it would be ridiculous, but for an event like this where they need to have a ton of people in all of the campaigns I think it's a great incentive.
