Saber cat it cool but I wont purchase it for more than 2500 crowns. I wanted the elk as well but they priced themselves out of that. Penny smart dollar foolish is the only way to describe Zos crown pricing. I bet they would have sold 3 times the mount of elks if the mount price was more inline with previous ones in the end making more money for a virtual cosmetic.

Sabre tooth cat with the armor looks gorgeous, and I do like the jester *hats* too

I prefer to ride horses though..

From a marketing standpoint releasing Sabre Cat with Wild Hunt Apex was a bad idea. Majority of players won't buy both, but instead they will pick one to go after.

If they were smart, they should have waited until next month to release the Sabre Cat. That way people would have spent money on Crates + Sabre Cat.

Well well, good for players though

Very disappointing showcase.

Only two of those items are not limited-time-only.

I mean, I kind of get the Jester's Festival ones being Limited time only, but why the senche? and the senche cub? No good reason except to make people buy it at a higher price than they would normally pay, because they might not be able to in future.

Oh and also so it can go in the crown crates later.

No new furniture/assistants? :-(.

I had hoped that this crown store update would have made me happy in preparation for the depressing crown crates announcement tomorrow...

Well... on the bright side, at least this month wont cost me any money!

ZOS logic on fairness

Have a monthly subscription option, give 1500 crowns per month

Price everything worth having at triple the monthly crown allowance so even subscribers have to shell out more money.

You can rent a car in real life for a day for the same price as some of these crown store offerings, and they aren't real.

Any thoughts on when the "Island" house will be available? Though I like the cavern, I've been holding out on a major house purchase for the island, since you let us preview and lust after it for two weeks....

And - I bought the elk for my long white bearded Nord. Thought it was a funny Christmas thing, but hate the animation and the mount itself. Personally, the cats and wolf mounts seem to operate the best - I find my horse pauses when i jump, but my cats /wolves don't (max stam/max speed), so it *seems* faster. No objective testing has been performed; can't find a qualified driver or a closed course. Don't try this at home.

I never said it was going to be Crown Crate exclusive. Since the new season of Crown Crates is released this month I said it wasn't a smart move to release the Sabre Cat the same month as Crown Crates. Majority of players won't buy both Crown Crates to hopefully get an Apex Mount + Sabre Cat from Showcase.

A smarter move would be to release Crown Crates this month to let people spend their money on the crates, then next month you could release the Sabre Cat and let people spend more money.

As for release date of Wild Hunt Crates, it looks like they will be released tomorrow with an official article posted in the morning.

But as far as the elk being prohibitively expensive: Good. Imagine if everyone and their kid brother had an elk screaming at every wayshrine in Tamriel. No, riding an elk should be unique.

Since I don't like senches this is an easy choice.

Now the real question for ZOS, will the crown GEM items stay the same? I hope so because lightning mounts aren't my style but those Dwarven Engineer hats are.

Nope they're all changed out tomorrow. You have today to buy any of those items.

Sabre Cat is cool, but the pricing of mounts lately means that I don't get excited about them anymore. I also have a different horse I can ride for each of my characters, so I don't really need any more mounts. (Don't need more than one, really, but I had to buy all the ones in the stable.

)

I only buy things from the Crown Store anymore if they are cheaper than what I think the average should be. Everything else seems like a ripoff, even with the "free" subscription Crowns that aren't worth anything anymore due to the inflation.

Sigh.

For me it's almost like there is growing conspiracy for the last 4 or 5 months with the crown store. It's like they are bringing out new items they know I will not like. Same with housing, not a single house I like.

My balance of 50,000+ crowns will continue to grow I guess.

Furniture is nice, but more jesters.... ugh...
And looking at the datamined stuff for the Wild Hunt thing, I was really expecting more Bosmer/Hircine/Hunter kind of stuff, instead it's more shiny weird stuff.
