I really can't understand the logic here. If I wanted a refund for a glichy house that has so many faults then why on earth would I even go back in the house after I've already gotten my money back. What amazes me even more is the fact that after OP got the refund, he decided that "oh, this house must be me mine now for free" and moved in more of his stuff. [SNIp]

I am also slightly amused you found a way to link your Maelstrom staves again :p

This... If there was so much glitching... then why would you even invest in all the Crowns and gold to decorate a house that you did not want? Something just doesn't equate here...

Hey OP. It sucks of course that you lost all your money. But to be honest, you made the big mistake of assuming that after the refund, they let you keep the home for free. I am sorry, but that is just naive. There should have been a gnawing feeling in your stomach that told you "I just got the refund, but I still have my house... Would it be wise to spend a ton of crown on this house, even if I'm not 100% sure I may keep usong this house for free?" You should have contacted CS about the fact your house was still there, not just assume it is yours for free. A hard lesson learned I hope.

I understand you need to lose frustration by posting here, but its not going to bring you anything. Your best bet, unfortunately, is bringing it up with CS. They might give you a refund, or they might not. Good luck.

Why would you think that they would just let you keep something after giving you a refund? I don't follow the reasoning behind that. May want to contact support again before doing that charge back and getting your account suspended.

Just from reading other ZOS CS horror stories, I would never assume they were giving me the house for free. If that was the case, could imagine how many people would buy a house then ask for a refund, only for ZOS to refund them and let them keep the house? I mean, come on...

And basically, nothing is yours. All virtual items are still Zos's. You only "rent" them to use them. But you don't own them. Zos can do with it what they want.

It's is still harsh to loose crowns and money you spent on furniture which is not accessible.

but it's pretty dumb to decorate a house you didn't want and got refunded for. You didn't think the house would magically disappear? these things take time.

So uh...how are you the victim? You got your refund, they removed the house as you no longer desired it and demanded a refund on it, then you complain about it? This isn't McDonald's, you can't order a meal, complain, keep it, and get a refund, whether the motives were justified or selfish.

Did you check your furniture tab for the crown purchased?

@Sheezabeast So why didn't they take the house back, and return all the items I bought and crafted upon the moment of giving me back my crowns? I was swindled and robbed. And no. Nothing is in my crown store purchased tab. Not a damn thing. Literally everything was wiped. EVERYTHING.
Never assume anything, you didn't check with ZOS why you still had access to a house you got a refund for. If you would've asked instead of hoping it would be forgotten about. You wouldn't be in this situation.

This just makes no sense? Are you complaining here because of your naivity ZOS would let you keep the house for free [SNIp]. You said you did not want the house in the first place. Just sentence "I had to buy it" is beyond me. You did not "have to" buy anything.
Zenimax speed at removing the house from you is sure something they should think about but you are not in better possition either for decorating house you basically got refunded (refund does not mean you can keep the stuff)

Ps: I dont know what bugs and clipping you are talking about. I have the manor and everything is fine.

    Two questions

How many crowns total did you use?

Are you counting the crowns you spent on the house, then once those were returned (and spent again on housing items) as two amounts of crowns or the same?

I really am curious how many crowns were spent in total that they took from you.

Edit - to clarify, I think you spent $100 on a house, got the refund, still had the house, dropped the returned $100 again on items for the house and now it's all gone. I really wanna know a crown, gold and ap value here.

Why did you start to decorate it after you got refunded?

That was your error for a start.

You didn't want the house, petitioned ZOS for a refund on Crowns, got your Crowns refund for the house, then proceeded to decorate a house you no longer owned...expecting to keep it?

And this after you made it clear you thought the house was rubbish and you didn't want it.

Now you'll just have to hope they have some record of your items in that house, or you might not get back what you put in there.

You asked for a refund and they gave it to you. They did their part. That you assumed they were letting you keep the house after you got your refund is the big mistake on your part. Never assume. That there is an important lesson to learn. Assuming usually doesn't end well, especially when it comes to purchases.

It's not a good situation to be in for sure, having spent all those crowns and gold and AP. But say you bought a house in real life and then wanted to sell it, you wouldn't carry on decorating it after it had sold. You would just think "not my house anymore, so I won't touch it."

You can absolutely contact customer support but I'm not sure they will help. I hope they do.

So you decided to spend the crowns you got refunded for your house, on stuff for the house that they were refunded for. And then some.

I mean, what in the hell were you thinking? That they had decided to allow you keep it!! Without any written of even verbal confirmation!?

ZOS support are not your personal assistant's. You don't 'assume' anything without written confirmation. This is totally on you. But, I do hope you recieve the items you purchased after said refund. But, I mean, duh!!!!

I buy a car. I drive around and I do not like it. I take it to the garage and say I do not want it and want my money back. The car salesman goes inside to get the paperwork done.

The car is outside. Did the salesman leave it there for me for free?

I take the car, drive around , take it to a garage and pimp it up with spoilers, car mats, keychains, wings and styling kits.
I go back after I refuel the car to the car salesman. The paperwork is done. I get my money, I step outside and.... the car is gone :(

Buyer's Remorse all day long! You didn't like house, you asked for refund!

LilSusieZOS in accounting issued said refund, and rather quickly! (Which btw equals excellent CS). That refund generates a ticket for LilBobbyZOS back in assets! You know, because LilSusieZOS has no idea how any of the coding and such works within the system (nor should she).

The ticket to remove your (no longer owned) property arrives in LilBobbyZOS's inbox, back in assets. Since LilBobbyZOS isn't just waiting around for Ch4mps ticket, it goes into his queue. You see, LilBobbyZOS is busy with other asset issues from other customers (because Ch4mp isn't the only person in Tamriel)! A few days later (in this case three), Ch4mps ticket has arrived in the number one position in LilBobbyZOS's to do list. (This natural timeline is also helpful in that it would have given you time to remove your goodies from the home)

He reads the ticket (we all know what it says to do), he go's into the code and deletes said property (just as the ticket required - and what he's paid to do). He then marks the ticket as closed, moves it into the completed folder, selects the next ticket in the queue and continues with his work day!

You beginning to see how this works? Big companies don't have ONE employee. They also don't have ONE customer!

You hated the property enough to demand a refund. You were quickly issued said refund. At this point in the story, you should have put the crowns in your saddle bag, turned your back on the accursed property, mounted up and rode off into the Tamriel sunset!

But Ch4mp don't roll like that!

Hopefully Ch4mp has learned a lesson (or not). You want to find a person to blame for this? Go to the nearest mirror and have a looksie!

I am actually surprised they refunded the crowns in the first place to be honest.
Hope they will help you again and refund the crowns you spend after they refunded them again.

It's a bit naive to assume they'll let you keep the house they just refunded you the crowns for to be honest but I could see how you might think they messed up or something and forgot to take it from you.

@Ch4mpTW : OK the joke was nicely done, but you can end it now.

You want us to believe that you managed to get a refund from ZOS for a crown purchase, then that they returned the crowns to you but didn't remove access to the house, and finally that the house you disliked and had "clipping issues" all of a sudden became your favourite place, up to the point where you spend horrendous amounts and hours to decorate and furnish it ?

You really want us to buy that story ? Just how naive do you think we are ? Is this a test ?

While I agree with every single person posting above on how naive you were with thinking that you can simply keep the house for free, especially since you're an 'old' player as you described yourself so you really should have known how these things work and how they need some time to be 'processed', just submit a ticket for crown refund for all the furniture/decoration you bought from the Crown Store and I'm pretty sure you will get it. But don't count that ZOS will give you back all the AP/gold you had spent. It's all your fault after all and ZOS can't be blamed for your unwarranted assumptions.
