Where does one find a vDSA group?

Hi all,

I've been trying to find a group to run DSA for a few weeks now, but I've simply not been able to. None of my friends or guildies are interested in running it, and I can't even find any PUGs.

I've tried /zone LFG in Craglorn, I've put up posts in the LFG forum, I've cried and rocked myself to sleep...

Where does one find a party to run DSA with?

For reference, I'm a magplar healer with about 385 CP.

vDSA is not PUGable, so that's why people are not trying to LFG in zone chat. Sure, sometimes they do, and long time ago I even tried to be a PUG, but it wasn't good, trust me

even with good guys it's going to be very long without any results. find a pve guild and try to do it with them. There are plenty of casual trial guilds now.

vDSA does needs a very high DPS and awesome tank, while many people are struggling in vet dungeons already

What server are you on? Maybe find a guild that would be interested in such a thing?

I'd run random vet dailies. If you see really good players ask them if they're into any guilds that do trials/dsa. You'll find people eventually. They may want you to have certain gear though, like spell power cure.

Edit: unless you get on a good team (most speed run teams do 3dps/tank, a dps offtanks last boss, tank holds adds) expect your first run to take 3-5hrs.

I'm on PC EU! I'm just not sure where to start finding such a guild.

That's a good idea! I'm equipped with divines SPC gear, so that's no problem with me!

Yea, I have already 6 toons cp530 and yet I was never able to find a group for vDSA. I think they have to add trials to group finder. But the way it goes group finder only becomes worster. Seems their developers are not even capable to make a good GF. Nothing to expect.

Join a PvE guild that does Trials, that should get you people to teach you the mechanics and do the content. Trials guilds would require you to have completions and knowledge of the mechanics..

So what you suggest is enclosed circle: to learn mechanics you need a group. But to find a group you need to know mechanics. Coooool.

Worse than that.

If you find a "casual trials" guild, they'll be friendlier to teach you mechanics but too uncommitted to help you do vDSA.

If you find an hard core guild, they will assume you already know everything and basically don't even need to run vDSA because you are meant to have farmed it a year ago.

I play since closed beta, I either found "elite" guilds who won't accept less than the best or very lazy, low performance, low ambitions loose causal trial guilds. In WoW I could easily find middle tier guilds that won't scorch you alive if you don't know something or ask something "trivial" (like to run vDSA) but want to get things done with some committment.
