    None of the above.

I play female characters because I love female bodies in general. It's like looking at a feline, such elegance, slenderness.
Males look like blocks of bricks in comparison.

Can't imagine female being as strong as humanly possible considering real life biological sex differences, that's why we have gender divisions in sports, etc.

In all seriousness, I can't take credit for my character design decisions. I have a young daughter that helps me with the "dress-up" aspect of the game. She does a good job!

There is jiggle in ESO? I guess I didn't look hard enough :|
Anyway, even if there would be some nice jiggle and the characters would look photorealistic, I wouldn't enjoy playing a female character. When I play a game I like to feel it's me in that world so I always try to make my character look as close to real me as possible (Ragnar Lothbrok season 2 hairstyle FTW). I would feel odd being a woman and know that all the men are looking at my cheeks. I prefer being a male meeting females, not any other way.

I believe there were some minor differences in Morrowind and Oblivion in race stats when compared female/male (but they were really minor and even at the "new game" with new character they were irrelevant).

Apparently you don't know anything about ancient human history and how women fought alongside men in battle. It was mainly thanks to 'religion' that women started being seen as 'lessor' than men, and thereby treated as such up into modern history.

Further, some people here have mentioned that they see their onscreen character as an extension of themselves, so apparently that means many of them enjoy imagining themselves killing a lot of people without guilt or morals... somehow that seems a bit disturbing. I, however, see my characters as 'characters' much like writing a book, they can be very different from me and do things I would never do... this includes being a different gender. When I play ESO I'm not even thinking about 'sex' in the first place, I'm thinking about being a warrior running around fending for my survival and helping people out along the way... there is nothing sexual about that. Further, considering I only see about 1/3 of the top of my character while the rest is covered by attribute and skill bars, there is no "jiggle" to be seen.

Let me jump in. Yes women fought alongside men, but that doesn't make them physically as strong as men. It's just impossible...but not for long, though. Today, most young men from developed countries are weak, thanks to being raised by a computer screen. Without any dangers around, there is nothing to trigger their bodies and behavior to become more masculine. Just few more generations and men will be equal to women in terms of physical strength.
Solution - go to gym kids, and don't mind getting into a bar fight every now and then.

Combat success DOES NOT rely solely upon 'strength'; strength does not dictate the outcome of battle, combat prowess does. A skilled person can win against a 'stronger' opponent.

Yes - I like to watch the hawt boogie jiggle!
Never noticed any jiggle, but I will say during the normal jog there is a sort of bounce sway of dem hips and whatnot on females. Sprinting ruins this completely, and if you're on certain mount models you can see more definition so to speak unless you're in a skirt/robe/loose clothing.

It's not my primary reasons for picking an opposite gender char, but I totally see the appeal of having something you wanna stare at during off times if that's your thing. May as well enjoy your character however it may be, from looking hawt to grotesque, or as a skeleton thing.

I will say as a male, I enjoy playing as female, but for so many mixed reasons. I will say the interesting bits are when I noticably see a male character really checking me(or another female char) out or in the very odd chance someone hitting on me or wanting to hook up. Can play whatever you want, but when you try to bang another player over it... should probably tone it down a bit. Same applies to those intentionally seeking said results.

Will say though, really like watching dem hips n curves doe, and if it's a khajiit dat tail sway. hubba hubba yum fhfhf-

    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

Yes you're right but up to a point where size makes too big of a difference.
Put any skilled UFC female fighter against The Mountain. She can do all the backflips and acrobatics she want but life is not a kung fu movie.
