✭As a rule, no. However, I did have a character that I had invested too much in to delete (motifs, 9 traits, completed main story, lots of skyshards) but I just couldn't get a handle on the playstyle of the character and almost never played him as a result. Eventually as an experiment I used an appearance token and made him into a voluptuous girl in a coin ball gown and... for some completely inexplicable reason she's far more interesting now.
Weird thing is I have other female characters (I had an even mix of both) and they're all in ass-kicking outfits and would be completely out of character in anything that couldn't stop a bullet; it would never even occur to me to dress them any other way. So it really is this weird anomaly that this character seems better the more cheesecake she gets when any of the others would role their eyes at her.0 -

All my characters are on some level an extension of myselfs psyche at the time, so they do tend up to be male, but its not like I haven't played female characters in the past, its all about what bits of myself I want to play with at that point in time

It's seriously stupid for anyone to say that a man playing a male character is "gay." That doesn't even make sense.
I'm female and have played both male and female characters in games, but I vastly prefer female characters because that's what I'm most comfortable playing. Who the heck cares why someone chooses what they choose? I'm married, and my husband usually plays male characters, although he's also played a female character on occasion as well. Sometimes it's just fun to play different types of characters, you know?2 -
