No, i didn't do anything special. I've restarted the quest a few times before the update but now i could do it without restarting. I just went there and was able to talk to Zeira. (I'm on pc)

I cant progress beyond Escort Zeira to palace. She is stuck by the table. Same for my partner. 2 different PS4 consoles....

I am having the same issue still. I can't progress past Escort Zeira to the palace. She stands there and is unable to be interacted with. I have tried restarting the quest, exiting and entering the instance, /reloadui, repairing my game and none of it works.

One thing you might want to try to see if it triggers this bug is entering the quest in a party. My partner and I were both in a party when trying this quest and could not progress beyond Escort Zeira to the palace. We restarted the quest ungrouped, I still had the bug but my partner was able to interact with her for whatever reason.

I really hope this is fixed soon because I can't progress in the Thieves Guild questline until it is.

Please fix this!!! I am having the EXACT SAME problem, hotfix back in June obviously did not fix for everyone...

I'm posting here as well in the hopes that we will get some kind of a response. I'm getting very weary of the bad customer service on this. It would be nice if they would at least say 'we are looking into it' and actually did.

Willymchilybily, neither this fix or the prior one should require you to drop the quest and retake it.
