Ps4 Dye Station bluring out of focus

Can anyone explain why this happens and if there is a fix to it?

Just some filler information before anyone starts to say it's on my end for my T.V.

It's not my t.v I got the tv the same time I bought my ps4 with ESO almost 2 years ago now. The dye station issue has been ongoing ever since Dark brotherhood launched and I assumed it would be fixed eventually but have not heard anything other than an odd statement here and there saying the same annoyance I'm getting.

It's a sony screen 42 inch, with HDMI cord hooked up as well. All the settings have stayed exactly the same. I tried adjusting the screen brightness and corner sizes and without fail whenever I go to a dye station it always blurs out of focus 1-2 seconds after I access the station.

Once again I'll reiterate just to clear any misinterpretation, this blur out of focus ONLY occurs whenever I try to use the dye station. At no other point whatsoever ingame do I get this phenomenon at all. The rest of the game performs as per usual.

It's not just you man. It's been a known bug for a while.

For me it comes and goes.

Hopefully it gets some attention soon.

I don't see how it couldn't be an easy fix. It is very frustrating and gotten to the point where I don't even want to look or buy new costumes because of having to deal with this

Its completely random, as it doesn't happen all the time, and when it does most times closing and reopening the dye station fixes it.

It happens to me every time. Doesn't matter how many times I close and open it.

Not the case here, this happens 100% of the time regardless of app closure, restarting ps4.
I even tried it on a different T.V. Same result as before.

Yep. I was always under the assumption that because the camera angled right into the path of the fire in the background that it lost focus for some reason.

I believe the textures had some changes as some on PC talked about it after the housing update but it's been blurry even on Xbox one.

It happens all the time to me on PS4 EU. Have tried on second ps4 and TV. Its definitely not the TV thats the issue.

Yep. I was always under the assumption that because the camera angled right into the path of the fire in the background that it lost focus for some reason.

This seems to be the case, It's very noticeable in cyrodiil and is a eye sore.

I've had people report that removing their costuming and allowing their helmet to show can help. This hasn't worked for me, but others have had luck with it.

Happens to me everytime.

For the smaller items, like gloves, it makes the dyestation VERY difficult to use. for chest/legs it just makes it quite difficult

I decided to drop in here to give my 2cents.

But anyway back on-topic, yes this has been an extraordinarily long bug-interface issue with zero actions or acknowledgement. I understand this is a relatively minor issue but that it has persisted so long without even a slight look into it is rather annoying and frustrating on our end.

Does it happen more often in higher population areas? Could be an LOD issue.

No it does it anywhere at anytime, Everytime I have tried to access it it ALWAYS blurs out. Tried dye stations in cyrodiil, low population zones, in my OWN housing instance by myself. No change always blurs out

Does this on xbox one as well

Happens everywhere.

Literally I think what is happening is that they set the focus distance for the dye station camera incorrectly, so it's focusing on the area just behind your character (probably on the dye station itself)

That sucks. Guess hit up the in game bug report and bug report section of the forms. Can take time, but they do fix things I've reported. I know for everyone on console that process is extended as they must go through quality aproval by Sony and Microsoft.
