I meant to have a forth "Other" and fifth "Just Show Me The Poll" but when I clicked enter it posted before I was done. Oh well, could have been worse. It's functional as is.

I'm cheap in game like IRL.

Getting me to buy something instead of finding it myself is already rare, but I definitely WILL find the cheapest price on said item.

    Needs a fourth option: Rarely.

In general I've noticed out of the way traders are more expensive than major cities, but if I'm desperate for something, I'll go everywhere.

I've clicked no, because its true most of the time. If I look on the trading website for a particular item and its in an out of the way store, I will make an exception.

Would rather pay a bit more for say resins, than waste my time porting all over the place

If I pass by one and I don't have anything pressing, I'll check their wares out of curiosity. If I'm looking for something specific and Tamriel Trade Centre has a listing for a good price within a few hours, sometimes it turns out to be a remote trader.

Yes, I visit every trader in every zone when I'm looking to buy.
If I am looking for something, I will hit any trader I can think of to find it. Especially if I think I can get it at a much lower price. I have a pretty good idea of what something should sell for, so if I find it at a fair price, I buy it. I won't go looking beyond that, for no other reason than I have lost a couple of items thinking I could beat the price, only to come back and it's gone.

As I am adventuring, I hit every trader kiosk I see and browse the stock. Sometimes its something I need, sometimes it's a bargain.

If am looking for mats, I admit I get lazy on the common ones and buy at what I know is a fair price. But some mats are rare.

Like some others, I'm sure, I have a few favorite Guilds that I would totally go out of the way to shop at, if I only knew where they were each week.

Short of being in a particular Guild, is there any way to find out where a Guild's trader is for the week?

    (I'm on PS4/NA.)

    Thanks in advance, xari.

There was no option for my answer

I sometimes visit out of the way traders. I don't visit every one in every zone.

Most of the time those traders don't have much in them though

I quest a lot with all my characters (840CP, never grinded... that's a lot of questing) so if I come across a minor guild trader I always check their stock and buy whatever I need. I'm actually more likely to buy random things from a small trader, than to methodically search the major city traders for goods.

I'm using TTC site so technicaly yes but without it i wouldnt use traders outside maybe Deshaan, Rawl'kha and Blekarth at all. I play to have fun and trading system in this game isn't fun. I tried to check every single merchant once. Lost 2 hours of my life and got nothing in return. Never gonna do this again.

My answer is "sometimes". If I'm looking for something specific and the prices I'm seeing for it are high enough for me to bother searching around for the best deal, then I'll go to all kinds of out of the way traders until I find it at a price I'm willing to pay. If I'm looking for something specific and it's not very expensive, the convenience of buying it without having to search around is worth not getting a great deal.

Also, I never do the whole "playing the economy game" of looking for underpriced items and flipping them for a profit, so I don't ever bother searching for things unless it's something that I personally want to use.

I sometimes visit the lonely ones that are near Wayshrines and such... but I never go to Outlaw Refugees ones, for example. Nor I ever go to Hew's Bane or Gold Coast ones...

When I'm looking to buy something, I just trip to Elden Root, Belkarth, Rawl'ka, Mournhold, Wayrest, and if still haven't found what I want at a reasonable price, then I visit Daggerfall, Sentinel, Shornhelm, Hollow City, Marbruk, Orsinium, etc. etc.

This is why we need a Universal Trader Search Tab when we are looking for an item. You would not be able to buy directly from the this Search Tab, but it would list all the items available on your platform and what trader i have to travel to, to buy it.

(On PC i believe they have an addon for this already.)

I used to check guild traders in remote locations but they always had almost nothing for sale and it was waste of time. Ive never found anything I wanted at those traders. I dont know why they even bother having a trader with nothing for sale.

So now I just save time and go to the main city traders.

I chose Yes but your options aren't very good. I would rather you have made an option that says "Yes, but not all the time." Only if I am desperate for a material, for example trying to craft a writ before daily reset, will I visit every single backwater trader. I ONLY visit them if the main city traders don't have what I want. If I don't have a deadline or urgency for the item I'm looking for, I only browse the main city traders.

I check the traders in the outlaws refuge or out of the way locations if I am in the area. Otherwise I have a few cities I shop in when I'm looking for something I can't find in my guilds.

I try to visit every trader in the game weekly, looking for those underpriced items to buy up. The more secluded means better deals usually....last week I found a stack of 6 dreugh wax for 15k, these are the droids I'm looking for!!

Sadly there is no option for efficient / intelligent shopping:
    - I know that most "good" players sell their stuff in prominent places. So there is no point in looking for stuff like gold pvp jewelery or the complete silken ring motif book in a far away trader.
    - For cheap and popular items, it's not worth to check many traders as I could use the time spend in loadscreens to get more money than I could possibly save.
    - For sets that are not considered bis and low level items usually noone sells them in top locations, so I only search traders with medium to low popularity.

I check my own guilds, then local traders where I am, then go to main trading centers, then work outward. A "main trading center" is pretty much anything with 4 or more traders, and I start with the nearest. I rarely get to Rawl'kha. I visit the remote traders mostly when I am not looking for something. It is the remote traders that I am more likely to find things I am not specifically looking for right now, like cheap recipes that I don't know, inexpensive items with specific traits that I need, etc. This is also where I find the crazy low priced items that I can sell for more in my own guild.
