I like it because I don't see the limitations of homestead, but rather the possibilities.

You can do so much that just build a house, you can make Tavern, school, theatre or an auctionhouse. There are so much you can do, and all you need is some creative thinking

For some things, yeah, for some nope.

Housing itself is pretty nice, target dummy is an amaaaaaaaaaazing addition, houses themselves can be pretty cool.

Not a big fan of the balance changes and master writs being yet another huge RNG barrier.

Imo, despite the technical heck ups of server crashes for hours, the homestead patch is a success, innovative like the memorable witches festival.
    1) glad the Templar nerfs wasn't too terrible, radiation oppression still produces massive damages.
    2) decorating house by farming recipes and materials gives max level end game players something to do.
    3) incorporates players who doesn't like to PVP or PVE all the time, and can focus on craftings, arts, designs and creativity.
    4) economic is booming, trader's haven.

There are things to like about it. I like the stacking motif pages and recipes, which made it easier to see how many I had. I don't like the new naming of motifs because it is harder to see which ones I am missing. Sticking the word "recipe" at the beginning of each recipe cuts off the end of the name of the recipe.

I do the housing quests, but I have no immediate need for housing. Eventually, I expect I will go the attuned (or whatever it is called) crafting station route, and get a training dummy, but I am in no hurry.

I forgot to mention the part, I didn't like.

The Character limit and permission system is annoying as hell. I hope the raise the limit and characters and makes it possible to add groups of people with the same permissions in one go instead of one. at. a. time... :#

I would've have voted no, but may seem a bit too harsh. So, neutral would make more sense. I just don't care for housing, even in Skyrim. Too much to do and too little of time for gameplay to mess with crafting furnitures and playing interior decorators. Ha ha. However, all you cool kids clubbers.. go for it!

I was super hyped, but honestly it feels like the bare bones they could get away with. A lot of things on the crown store(I'm looking at you, decorative book rows) I feel shouldn't be. I know they say they plan to add to it, but this is pretty much all there is to this DLC, and it feels pretty minimal.

Also, the housing editor is very fiddly and annoys me a lot.

I like that there are houses but a lot of this update introduced more problems, killed the stability, so overall I'm considering quitting entirely next week.

What good is adding content, if you're gameplay is noticeably worse in what you enjoy doing in the game. It's only stable in my house but not in any towns and problematic in dungeons due to animation changes and lag for performance on Xbox one.

Absolutely; I am one of the many who requested it for the longest time. I'm also one of the many who are disappointed it is missing proper storage and display options for loot. There is more to be done with housing. Also while we are on the subject of housing; it was reasonable to expect the Crown Store exclusives be available during Homestead launch; and still no word. ZOS, can we please get an update on this?

Technical issues does kill a game for sure. This patch seems to have less crashes and errors so far for me on PS4 pro though, so I'm glad.

I have enjoyed the patch and new home that I got. Though I was not wealthy enough for a Manor; I did get Hunding's Palatial Hall and have had a good time customizing the house/ decorating. The decorating system for the houses is very good in my opinion and leaves you free to do almost anything you can imagine.

I still wish they would go with some kind of storage for the house:

Perhaps they could institute a 60 space housing chest that is only able to be opened while at your house. (If they wanted to help with subscriber numbers they could make that a subscriber based perk)

Just think that storage may have helped it be embraced more by the community.

Houses have zero functionality that is useful or practical so have no interest from me, also more nerfs to templar losing one of our only stuns plus more bugs, one for me actually blocking progression and also most of the housing update and gambling casino box's are nothing but a quick copy pasta cash grab. Then you have the whole fake expansion DLC not being given to subs or a way to purchase with crowns...even if they make it 15,000 crowns, at least make it purchasable.....

No storage caps increase or anything for storage in homes even though thousands of new items AGAIN have come into the game.

Oh and performance is worse, unbalanced builds not addressed and a zillion other things that are still not even discussed with ZOS never mind looked at...or actually action worthy....

    So yeah erm....for me... no.

It's too grindy for stand-alone content. If it was introduced alongside another zone or storyline so I have something to DO while looting every chest and barrel in sight it'd be fine, as it is it's more tedious than it needs to be.

I do, but I really want to see more systems tied into it. Like thievery, I know there are some items that can be stolen and laundered and placed, Id like to see all stealable items be placeable.

Armor displays, weapon racks that you can place crafted gear onto.

I would love to display my fighters guild quest sword!

I think they are heading in the right direction, I'm sure this is just the first iteration of housing, so slowly but surely we will get it all.

I think the first impression of it through the freebie apartment quest was terrible and underwhelming. You basically get a broom closet or prison cell, and this does not make for a good impression of something you could be spending your time doing. Once you do save up some gold and purchase one of the staple homes, then it becomes extremely fun. Decorating is very flexible. My only complaint is the item cap limit. I'm sure they will add some cash shop feature to expand the item caps, but it's limiting right now.

Yes. MORE features in the game is always better than LESS features. If you're constantly looking at everything in life for what they "aren't" rather than for what they "are", you're living a pretty sad existence.
